The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will return for an emotional John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) reunion. This dad will join Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) secret circle, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
According to summer preview spoilers, Ted King will reprise the role of Jack Finnegan for some important new scenes.
With Finn alive and getting stronger, Jack will ultimately get involved in his recovery storyline.
B&B fans know Li smuggled Finn out of the hospital and refused to give up on him.
Li took care of the death certificate details and lied about having Finn cremated – that way, she could care for her son in peace.
Finn’s medical team gave up on hope, but Li refused and was determined to give her son a second chance at life.
However, Li has been adamant about being the only one who knows Finn survived. To be safe, this is a battle Li had to fight alone with Finn.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) mentioned that she talked to Jack, who was a wreck as far as she could tell.
It’s clear that Jack isn’t doing well at all since he believes Finn is dead and gone forever.
You could argue that it’s cruel for Li to keep the truth from Finn’s father, but Li doesn’t know who she can trust.
Perhaps Li feared that Jack would think she was delusional and clinging to hope when there was none left.
Jack indeed might’ve seen a mom in denial if he was brought in the loop too soon.
If Jack alerted anyone to the real story, Finn might’ve been taken away from Li – and then he wouldn’t have had this opportunity to come back from the brink of death.
Once Li feels confident Finn is out of the danger zone and on the mend, she may decide it’s time for Jack to join the secret circle.
Regardless, B&B spoilers say Jack’s going to get updates and have an emotional Finn reunion eventually.
This dad will finally be able to see Finn again and deliver support along with Li.
