When John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) wakes up, he might be unable to escape Sheila. Finn might be traumatized and terrified to cross his bio mom. Sheila Carter’s Version of Events
B&B spoilers reveal that Mike helped Sheila escape prison. After Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) made a run for it, Sheila took Mike’s car, which led to the doctor’s death.
It is teased that Sheila will explain to Mike that Finn is alive. Mike will help his old friend keep Finn alive and may even assist in his recovery.
However, Hanes told Soap Opera Digest that Mike is sticking around a while. Mike is surprised to learn about Finn and gets Sheila’s side of the story.
Of course, Sheila paints the picture as if it was all just a terrible accident.
Sheila probably doesn’t admit that the only reason Finn got shot in the first place was that she was tried murdering Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
B&B Spoilers: John Finnegan Wakes Up
Hanes explained to SOD that Mike gives Sheila the benefit of the doubt. However, what happens when Finn finally wakes up?
Even though Finn could have memory loss, it’s also just as likely that he remembers everything.
The only problem is that Finn will need time to recover and get strong again. Sheila will have an iron-clad grip on Finn and isn’t going to let him leave.
So, Finn will need to play this carefully, so he doesn’t set Sheila off again. Finn might also be traumatized by the shooting and could fear any resistance will affect Steffy.
Remember, Finn doesn’t know that Steffy is in Europe. So, Finn could worry that Steffy and the kids are in grave danger.
Mike Guthrie’s Change of Heart
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Mike believes Sheila’s story… at first. After Finn wakes up, he could take a chance and tell Mike what really happened.
Finn might even make a plea for Mike to help him. If Mike doesn’t want to do it for Finn or Steffy, then maybe he’ll think about the innocent children involved.

It’s possible that Finn and Mike will make a secret pact. It was stated that what keeps Finn going is getting back to Steffy and the kids.
Finn knows that if Sheila is aware of how quickly he is recovering, she could take action to keep him from leaving her.
So, Finn might pretend that he’s not as strong or he could even fake falling back into a coma! Finn has to get Sheila’s guard down somehow so he can get away.
Despite Sheila’s long history with her accomplice, Mike might end up having a change of heart.
How will Sheila react when she learns that she’s been crossed yet again?
