The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, April 11, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) chased suicidal Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to the rooftop after Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) became too much to bear.
At the hospital on Monday’s B&B episode, Taylor reflected on how Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had made it through the night.
\Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) revealed that there’d been no improvement in Steffy’s critical condition, so they just had to give her time to heal.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived and got updates on Steffy before wondering how this could’ve happened.
Brooke heard about Sheila wanting to see John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) one last time and being denied access to him.
Despite her disdain for Sheila, Brooke knew she must really be going through a tough time.
Taylor suggested that Sheila just wanted to go back and stop the shooting from happening – like they all would’ve.
After Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) brought Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) a meal and a change of clothes, she offered some comfort.
Hope felt confident that Steffy would get better and added that they’d be there for the kids in the meantime.
All the disagreements and hardships of the past didn’t matter anymore.
Hope argued that they just had to be there for each other, so she assured Liam that they were standing together in this crisis.
Although Hope had her differences with Steffy over the years, she said she always respected Steffy as a mother and admired her work at the company.
Hope was thrilled for Steffy when she met Finn, so she worried about the world Steffy was waking up to.
Liam knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but he felt they could help Steffy pick up the pieces following Finn’s death.
Liam suggested that Steffy just had to wake up first.
In another area of the hospital, Thomas insisted that Sheila never answered his question.
Thomas demanded to know if Sheila had anything to do with what happened to Steffy and Finn.
After Sheila flashed back to the alley horror, Thomas asked if she was involved in the shooting.
Thomas wondered if Sheila was the reason Steffy was fighting for her life and why Finn died.
Sheila acted appalled as she asked if Thomas thought she wanted this.
Thomas wasn’t trying to be cruel, but he felt he had to ask since what Sheila did to Brooke proved she hadn’t changed.
The police questioned Thomas about whether he knew anyone who hated Steffy enough to shoot her.
When Thomas asked if Sheila was that person, she got increasingly agitated.
Sheila said the idea of Steffy clinging to life scared her just as much as Thomas. She added that the way Finn lost his life made her sick!
Sheila wondered if Thomas really thought she’d shoot her own son. “What kind of animal would that make me, Thomas?!” Sheila asked angrily.
After Taylor appeared, she realized Thomas was grilling Sheila about whether she was responsible.
Sheila cried about everything getting ripped away and didn’t feel like Taylor could help her. She said she was never going to see Finn again and ran out of the room.
Taylor scolded Thomas since Sheila was struggling like the rest of them. She decided to go check on Sheila and took off after her.
Back with Brooke, she offered a change of clothes and extended her support to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge admitted he was scared and hugged Brooke as he accepted her comfort.
Over with Liam again, he ranted about some random monster going after Steffy and Finn.
Liam tried to think back to his last conversation with Steffy and wondered if what he said was enough.
Even if Steffy pulled through, Liam knew things would never be the same again.
While Thomas told Ridge about Taylor chasing after Sheila, the grieving birth mom wound up on the rooftop ledge.
Sheila said she didn’t want to hurt anybody and wondered why Steffy couldn’t just give her a chance.
After Sheila flashed back to meeting Finn for the first time, she said she couldn’t go on without him.
As Sheila inches closer to the edge of the roof, she told Finn she was coming.
Taylor raced out on the rooftop moments later and begged Sheila not to jump!
