The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 15, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made an anti-Logan declaration while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) learned Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) dumped Jack Finnegan (Ted King). Let’s talk about all Monday’s B&B action.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy gave Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) another push back in Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) direction.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) tried to help with the usual parent-trapping, but Taylor said they just got caught up in the moment in Monaco.
Steffy argued that it was more than that, but the gang got distracted by Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) text soon after.
Douglas wanted Thomas to come back over and play catch after he got ice cream with his babysitter.
Thomas confessed that Douglas asked if his dad missed him when they weren’t together, which broke his heart. S
teffy argued that Thomas shouldn’t have to feel like he’s simply visiting his own son, so Thomas admitted that’s indeed what it felt like.
Since Thomas was stable and doing so well, Taylor saw no reason why Douglas shouldn’t be with him.
After Taylor urged Thomas to talk to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), he said he already mentioned the idea and got shot down.
Ridge worried that Hope felt threatened and pointed out this didn’t need to be contentious.
Taylor understood Ridge’s fear, but she didn’t think Hope had the right to make the sole decision.
Steffy argued that Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) never would’ve walked away from Douglas, so this was a different situation than the one with Li and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
After Steffy insisted Thomas was Douglas’ only living parent, she felt it was time to stand up to Hope, Brooke and all the Logans.
They were the ones who should be visiting Douglas in Steffy’s opinion, so she said Douglas needed to come home to the Forresters.
Once Brooke was done showing off the toe pic at Il Giardino, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was sad Sheila never became the person she wanted to be.
Brooke acknowledged that she didn’t expect to be around Deacon for so long and didn’t want to upset Ridge.
Before Brooke could leave, Deacon called her attention to Hope’s latest problem.
That led to Hope and Liam explaining Thomas’ desire to live with Douglas full-time. Brooke learned Thomas wanted to move in the Forrester mansion with Douglas and asked if he was talking about permanent custody.
Hope said that’s what it sounded like and worried since Douglas was thriving at the cabin.
Brooke agreed Douglas had a loving home with two capable parents and an amazing role model in Liam.
As for whether Thomas was stable enough to care for Douglas on his own, Brooke honestly didn’t think he ever would be.
At Bill’s place, Li confessed that part of her would’ve rather had Sheila rot in prison for decades.
Another part of Li was just as satisfied over how Sheila was torn apart. Bill smiled since they thought alike and said good riddance to that maniac.
After Bill offered to listen if Li needed to talk, Li opened up about surviving Sheila’s reign of terror.
Bill confessed that Li earned his respect by rising to the challenge – and Bill had earned Li’s respect, too.
Although Bill assumed Li’s husband must be relieved, she confirmed that she was no longer a couple with Jack.
Bill was sorry to hear that, but Li wasn’t since Jack had an affair and told so many lies.
Li was thankful to be John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) adoptive mom, but she was disgusted over Jack’s levels of deception and how he pretended Finn wasn’t his biological child.
The disrespect was something Li could never forgive – nor could she forgive Jack for bringing Sheila into all their lives.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill and Li’s spark could grow into a full-fledged romance if they let it, so stay tuned to see what’s ahead.
