The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, December 19, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) checked in with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at the office and discussed Katie Logan (Heather Tom) since he didn’t want her to get hurt.
Carter made it clear that he wanted Katie’s happiness – and that meant a life away from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Although Bill had been drawn to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Carter suggested that Katie wouldn’t have to doubt his own commitment to her.
Eric wound up inviting Carter to the Forrester gathering and hinted about taking advantage of the mistletoe.
There was also talk about Katie’s visit to Bill’s place, so Eric assumed he was trying to win her back.
At Bill’s house, he wanted to take Katie and Will Spencer (Finnegan George) for a week of family bonding on the Stella Maris.
Bill felt like he was floating around without Katie as an anchor and begged for a reunion since he needed her.
Katie pointed out that she had needs as well and urged Bill to take the trip alone. It was a mistake to even come talk to Bill as far as Katie was concerned.
Katie complained about Bill’s sword necklace, so he took it off and handed it to her. If Katie came back to Bill, then he’d no longer need protection.
Although Bill vowed to be the man Katie needed, she struggled to trust that he wouldn’t hurt her again. Bill urged Katie to skip the ride she’d arranged for and pushed her to choose him – now or never.
However, Carter arrived to pick Katie up, so she handed Bill his necklace back and told him goodbye.
In the end, Bill put the sword necklace back on after Katie left with Carter.
Thanks to a camera down the street from Il Giardino, the cops got a shot of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and were able to match her through a retinal scan.
Back at Forrester Creations, Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) delivered the news to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so they knew for a fact Sheila was alive like they suspected.
The police also knew the license plate number from Sheila’s stolen getaway car, so Baker was hopeful about catching her on Monday’s B&B episode.
A call came in from an officer, who had updates since he was tailing Sheila out on the road.
Baker put the cop on speakerphone as he pursued her with his lights and siren. Steffy and Finn insisted Sheila couldn’t get away,
but Sheila looked determined to do just that as she sped down the highway!
