The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, December 5, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) revealed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was alive. A chopped toe clue gave Finn’s bio mom away, so here’s how all the B&B action played out.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) appeared right as Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) were talking about her decision to tell the truth.
Both Hope and Brooke were grateful to Steffy, who didn’t want Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to marry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) based on a lie.
Steffy still hoped her parents’ love would persevere, but Brooke wasn’t so sure Ridge and Taylor would get married after this.
There was talk about Ridge leaving town to get some perspective – and Taylor was trying to gain some perspective, too.
Hope and Brooke mentioned Taylor hiding what she knew before the ceremony, but Steffy argued that Thomas convinced her to keep quiet based on a valid argument.
Thomas insisted that Ridge was marrying Taylor because of his love for her, not the CPS call.
Although Steffy agreed with that, she didn’t want Ridge and Taylor to start their marriage with deception between them.
No matter what her motivation was, Brooke and Hope remained thankful that Steffy spoke up.
Steffy eventually got a text from Finn that asked her to come to the hospital, so she said she’d have to skip the Hope for the Future meeting.
Later, Thomas found Brooke, who wondered what was wrong with him and asked why he hated her so much.
Thomas acted like this was about protecting Ridge, but Brooke thought all he cared about was putting his happy family back together.
After everything Ridge had done for Thomas, Brooke was appalled over him repaying his dad like this.
Thomas wasn’t sorry about wanting Taylor and Ridge to live happily ever after, so Brooke pointed out that he had no remorse.
Once Brooke expressed concern over Thomas, he insisted he was fine.
However, Brooke remained worried about all the lies, manipulation, schemes and bad choices. Thomas had gone too far this time, so Brooke warned that he’d pay for what he’d done.
At the hospital, Finn was online researching Sheila’s case when Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) appeared.
Detective Sanchez delivered Sheila’s toe and everything else related to the closed investigation.
Finn had requested the evidence since something was bothering him about how Sheila died.
Detective Sanchez thought a zookeeper might be able to tell Finn more about a bear’s behavior than a chopped off toe could.
Steffy arrived as Detective Sanchez was leaving, so she questioned what Finn was doing with Sheila’s toe.
Finn admitted something about Sheila’s death never sat right with him. Steffy said she had doubts early on as well, but all the evidence added up.
Even so, Finn thought it was awfully convenient and suggested the severed toe looked too clean to have been eaten off.
It was something Finn wanted to take a closer look at under a microscope.
Finn confirmed that he believed Sheila was alive, so Steffy immediately started freaking out.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he turned down her offer to play strip poker and felt they couldn’t bury their heads in the sand.
Sheila’s time was running out as far as Deacon was concerned.
Deacon argued that Sheila was going to get busted, especially if she kept sneaking out in that disguise of hers.
Although Deacon felt Sheila would land back in prison, she insisted she was going to rebuild her life – just like she’d done before.
Sheila was adamant that she’d be a free woman again, but she reminded Deacon that everyone thought she was dead anyway.
Later, Sheila painted her toenails and talked about one of her little piggies taking one for the team, which meant she kept “Mama” out of prison!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila will face some shockers once a fugitive hunt begins, so stay tuned.
