The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, February 14 Recap – Steffy Ridicules Hope – Deacon Lets Ridge Win Fight

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, February 14, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) let Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) win their fight in the end and seemingly played the victim to get Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) sympathy. Here’s how it all went down on Monday’s B&B episode.

In the storage room at Il Giardino, Deacon got up after Ridge’s punch and admitted he deserved that.

Deacon suggested that could be a free one, but he warned Ridge to never put his hands on him again.

Ridge ranted about Deacon violating his wife, home and bed.

Deacon protested that he only kissed Brooke once, but Ridge demanded to know if Deacon had spiked her drink or slipped her something.

Deacon denied that and insisted that he actually tried to get Brooke to stop drinking.

Deacon was sorry for ultimately joining in, but he reiterated that he didn’t spike Brooke’s cocktail.

Ridge wanted to know how Deacon ended up kissing his wife, so Deacon suggested they just got caught up in the memories after the booze was flowing.

It made Ridge sick to think about Deacon in bed with Brooke, but Deacon was quickly running out of patience.

At Brooke’s place, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) said she was concerned on so many levels.

Brooke thought if that were true, Taylor would’ve let her come clean instead of spilling the news herself.

Taylor protested that Brooke shouldn’t make her the bad guy here.

Taylor reminded Brooke that she had all this time to confess, but Brooke argued that she was about to before Taylor beat her to it.

Brooke was ashamed of her actions, but she didn’t think she had to defend herself to Taylor.

However, Taylor said Brooke owed Ridge a lot of things – with fidelity being at the top of that list.

Taylor implied that Brooke wasn’t really taking responsibility and brought up the pattern that had been going on for years.

Taylor ran down the list of men Brooke had turned to, but Brooke wasn’t interested in a therapy session and didn’t need Taylor’s analysis.

Brooke suggested that as a mental health professional, Taylor should have a little more empathy over her struggle with alcoholism.

Although Brooke argued that none of this would’ve happened if she hadn’t been drinking, Taylor felt Brooke drank so she’d have an excuse to cheat on Ridge.

Brooke was offended over the accusation and didn’t think this was any of Taylor’s business anyway.

Brooke insisted she didn’t drink to give herself permission and was fed up with Taylor’s judgment.

Brooke pointed out that Ridge loved her and said they’d work through this.

Brooke felt confident that her marriage would be fine, but Taylor seemed skeptical and wondered where Ridge was now.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thought Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) looked preoccupied.

Steffy admitted she felt sorry for Hope because of who her mother was, so Hope was taken aback.

Steffy clarified that Brooke’s dirty little secret was no longer a secret and explained that Taylor had filled Ridge in.

Hope defended Brooke, who regretted the choices she made that night.

Steffy figured that was only because Brooke got caught and felt Brooke just threw away her marriage.

Hope didn’t think Steffy was in a position to judge after her own mistakes. She didn’t want this to turn into another Logan-Forrester debate either.

Hope wanted to let Ridge and Brooke handle this themselves, but Steffy thought her father would kick Brooke out of his life once and for all.

Hope was upset over Steffy wishing the end of Brooke’s marriage, but Steffy said she just wanted Ridge to be happy.

Steffy thought it was unreal how Hope kept justifying Brooke’s decisions, but she wasn’t surprised.

After Hope brought up Ridge’s own mistakes and indiscretions, Steffy countered that her dad didn’t pretend to be perfect.

Steffy was adamant that Ridge would drop Brooke over her latest betrayal and go back to Taylor – the woman he should’ve been with all along.

Back in Il Giardino’s storage room, Deacon said that he’d held back on “kicking [Ridge’s] ass” before because Hope and Brooke were there.

Now that they weren’t around, Deacon warned Ridge to get out or make a move.

Ridge lunged at Deacon and started a brawl, but Deacon used his martial arts skills and definitely more than held his own.

When Deacon heard Brooke coming, he stopped fighting back and basically made it look like Ridge was beating him to a pulp.

Ridge grabbed a glass pitcher off the shelf and threw it at Deacon, so it shattered right as Brooke approached.

Brooke demanded to know what Ridge was doing and warned him to stop it.

Brooke took responsibility for what happened that night and insisted that Deacon didn’t do a thing.

That left Ridge furious over Brooke acting like Deacon was blameless in all of this.
