The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 17, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will stop Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) leverage while Deacon Sharps (Sean Kanan) crashes and burns with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
At Brooke’s place, she’ll be overwhelmed by Deacon’s latest love declaration – and not in a good way! There may be part of Brooke that still loves Deacon as well, but she can’t open her heart to any of this right now.
Brooke is focused solely on regaining her sobriety and preserving her marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so she’ll turn Deacon down flat and send him on his way.
The last thing Brooke needs is for Ridge to come home and catch her in a close moment with Deacon!
The good news is Deacon will scram before Ridge ever makes it back on the property.
The bad news is another visitor’s set to come along soon after Deacon leaves – one that’s sure to make Brooke uncomfortable.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will show up on Tuesday, January 18, according to B&B spoilers, but Monday’s cliffhanger might bring the first sign of her.
Although Taylor’s intentions will be pure, Brooke is bound to be on edge and quite suspicious.
In the meantime, Hope will try to eliminate any leverage Steffy might gain from Brooke’s relapse.
Hope will urge Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to keep Steffy in the dark and hope Brooke can work through her issues without interference.
Liam may not like the idea of lying to Steffy if she asks him outright what’s going on.
However, Hope may argue that if that happens, Liam should just suggest it’s not his place to go into details.
This is mostly between Brooke and Ridge at this point, so Hope will try to protect their attempt to get over this hurdle.
Hope won’t want Steffy seeing this as a chance for Taylor to swoop in and steal Ridge away, so she’ll trust Liam to make a pact of silence.
