The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 31, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will plot Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) downfall while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) faces Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) fury.
At the cliff house, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) won’t be certain of Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) story.
Since kids can have pretty active imaginations, Thomas will worry that maybe Douglas only thinks he saw Deacon kissing Brooke.
However, Steffy will argue this is Brooke they’re talking about! She’ll get updates on the rest of Douglas’ tale and insist it makes perfect sense.
Steffy won’t be surprised at all that Brooke has betrayed Ridge again with another scandal.
Thomas will wonder if maybe they should just leave the situation alone, even if it’s true.
Thomas will have major concerns about poking their noses into Brooke and Ridge’s business. Steffy, on the other hand, will think it’s their business too since it involves their father.
B&B spoilers say Steffy will want to prove Ridge can trust Brooke, especially around Deacon.
Steffy will also hope to steer Ridge back in Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) direction – and this kiss will serve as the ideal strategy for all that.
Steffy will just have to get Thomas on board with using Brooke’s blunder to their advantage.
While Steffy tries to convince Thomas this is the route to take, Deacon will deal with Ridge’s wrath. There’ll be a confrontation at Il Giardino, where Ridge will blast Deacon over New Year’s Eve.
Although Ridge won’t know Deacon threw back shots with Brooke or locked lips with her, he’ll realize Deacon was at the house for the family gathering.
That’ll bother Ridge, who’ll assume Deacon must’ve done something to trigger Brooke and cause her to fall off the wagon.
Deacon will stay tight-lipped about returning to the property after everyone else went home.
Deacon also won’t reveal how he spent the night in the same bed with Brooke!
Even so, Ridge will launch a verbal attack over Deacon’s presence on New Year’s Eve and cause drama.
Speaking of drama, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) will have to decide what to do about the smooch she just spotted.
Grace didn’t approve of Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) kiss with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), so she may seethe over what she witnessed before making her next move.
Tuesday’s show will bring Grace’s questions and accusations for Carter – at least according to official spoilers.
Nevertheless, Monday’s episode could offer a little taste of the action if that’s when Grace first approaches Carter for this fierce faceoff.
