The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 11, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) motivated John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to get out of bed while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was sent on a phony med mission.
At home, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) talked about living in the moment.
Ridge was happy to be home – and Brooke wasn’t taking any of this for granted.
Although Ridge worried about Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), Brooke offered reassurance about her adjusting to the situation.
Ridge didn’t want someone taking advantage of Taylor’s vulnerability, but Brooke felt that Taylor was very capable of taking care of herself.
At Il Giardino, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) convinced Taylor that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) hadn’t contacted him – and that if she had, he would’ve told both Taylor and the cops.
Taylor hadn’t had a chance to thank Deacon for saving Steffy’s life in the alley that night, so she wanted to express her gratitude now.
Although Deacon wasn’t a big fan of Ridge, he acknowledged that Ridge had been a real rock for Taylor while Steffy was in the hospital.
Taylor eventually admitted that Ridge had moved back in with Brooke and explained the broken ankle situation.
Deacon joked about that being as good a reason as any to restart a marriage, so Taylor was amused since she said the same thing.
After Deacon said he was sorry, Taylor said she was, too.
There was also talk about Ridge and Brooke’s reunion making it harder for Deacon to see Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Beth Spencer (River Davidson).
Deacon opened up before realizing he was dumping on Taylor at work. Taylor didn’t mind and wasn’t sure she’d ever really be off the clock.
When Deacon admitted he saw Ridge and Brooke’s reunion coming, Taylor confessed that she did as well.
In Taylor’s opinion, Brooke was never going to let go – and Ridge was always going to go back to her.
Taylor felt that some relationships were like emotional rollercoasters with such a beautiful view right before the plunge.
Deacon suggested it’d be great to keep that view at the top.
At the hideout, Sheila gave Finn a sip of water and pleaded for him to believe she never meant to hurt him.
Sheila acted like something inside her just snapped, but Finn thought to himself that Sheila was evil.
Inside Finn’s head, he vowed to make sure Sheila never got near him or his family again once he got out of there.
However, Finn knew he’d have to trick Sheila to make his freedom happen, so he ultimately said he believed Sheila and acknowledged that she loved him.
Finn still wanted to head to the hospital, but Sheila said they gave up on him and refused.
After Finn asked how long he’d been there, Sheila thought it was time to stop with all the questions and conserve his strength.
Sheila pushed Finn to trust her, so he lied that he wanted to.
After Finn claimed that he needed more medicine, he pointed out that he could tell Sheila what to get.
Sheila was hesitant to leave Finn, but he acted like it was important for him to have this medicine now.
“Please…Mom?” Finn begged – causing Sheila to cave in and promise she wouldn’t be gone long.
Finn smiled until Sheila left and then began the slow process of getting out of bed.
It was obvious that Finn was struggling, but he tightened his grip and tried to hoist himself up.
Finn vowed that he was coming for Steffy and began working hard to get back to her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will hit a snag soon enough, but at least he’s trying to reunite with his beloved wife!
