The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, May 9, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be furious over Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) killing John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are going to learn the truth, so they’ll do their best to help Steffy handle her new memories.
Taylor already assured Steffy that a memory flood would happen once she was ready. Steffy learned there could be something to trigger her – and that indeed happened following Sheila’s unwelcome visit.
Now Steffy is putting the puzzle pieces together and realizing Sheila was the one who came after her in that alley.
There’ll be some clearer flashbacks on Monday’s B&B show, so Steffy will vividly see that Sheila reached for her gun and shot Finn as he dove in front of his wife.
Once Steffy gets over the shock, the rage should come next.
Steffy will be appalled over Sheila shooting her own son and having the audacity to want sympathy from his grieving loved ones.
Sheila was hanging around the hospital like she belonged there and even had the nerve to ask if she could see Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot).
Steffy will hate Sheila more than ever as she brings Taylor and Ridge up to speed on what really happened.
For now, Steffy should remain a little blocked on why she was fighting with Sheila, but she’ll know for a fact Sheila was the one behind the double shooting.
That’ll lead to Ridge and Taylor pushing to get the cops involved, but Steffy will want to hold off.
Steffy will want to see the look on Sheila’s face when she’s been busted and drag out her revenge instead.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will get the shooter news eventually and become a key player in a plot to expose Sheila at the cliff house.
Of course, Steffy will have to do her part by calling Sheila back over under the guise of letting her see Hayes after all.
Sheila will think maybe her luck is turning around, but it’s all downhill from here.
Steffy will deal with more grief over Finn and his heroic sacrifice as well, but her main goal will be scheming against Sheila and making this monster suffer.
At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will get uncomfortable as Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) grills him about his lingering love for Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Paris might contend that it’s time to let Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife go and embrace something new.
Although Paris thinks she has something special with Carter as well, that’s just not the case on his end.
Carter won’t want to hurt Paris’ feelings and will find it awkward discussing his Quinn romance with her.
Thankfully, Quinn will swoop in and save Carter from the corner he’s been backed into.
That should bring a moment of gratitude and more flirting for “Quarter,” but will Paris really throw in the towel on Carter so easily?
