The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, September 19, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) trapped Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) into Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) time while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had a secret plan for her hubby.
At Forrester Creations on Monday’s B&B episode, Ridge praised Zende Forrester Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) design as Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) once again served as a fill-in model.
Ridge admitted his head wasn’t in the game lately, so Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) used the opportunity to remind his dad of the past.
Thomas acted like Ridge had been happy while living with Taylor not too long ago – though Ridge clarified that he simply stayed at Steffy’s guest house.
Regardless, Thomas made it clear that Ridge would be happier with Taylor, but Ridge kept defending his marriage to Brooke and trying to get his son to back off.
At the cliff house, Steffy wanted to keep the family fun going after spending some time at the beach with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and the kids.
Taylor entered to find Steffy recruiting Finn to the Taylor and Ridge reunion squad, so she scolded her daughter.
Since Steffy seemed to be up to something, Taylor pushed her daughter to spill. Steffy was saved by the bell when Taylor’s phone rang, but Taylor said she’d want answers once she finished this call about a patient.
That gave Steffy a chance to call Thomas, who was still with Ridge. Steffy pushed Thomas to bring Ridge over to the cliff house and made it seem urgent, so they rushed right over.
Once Thomas and Ridge arrived, they realized this was about Ridge and Taylor spending time together.
After a toast to the Forresters, Steffy kept playing up the energy and love that was evident between her parents.
Thomas agreed as Steffy made another pitch for Ridge and Taylor to reunite.
At Brooke’s place, she got off the phone with someone about the special night she was planning.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) overheard and got updates from Brooke, who wanted tonight to remind Ridge of what made them so good together – now and always.
Hope thought that was a good idea, especially considering all the Forrester pressure.
Since Steffy and Thomas were actively trying to push Ridge toward Taylor, Hope was concerned about the Forrester-Logan feud reigniting.
Hope added that the fragile peace between the families might finally end – if it hadn’t already!
It frustrated Hope since Steffy was acting like she had to right some long-standing wrong.
Brooke pointed out that she wasn’t holding Ridge against his will and insisted Ridge wanted to be with her.
Hope just wished Taylor, Steffy and Thomas could get it through their heads that Brooke wasn’t to blame.
Brooke decided that maybe she was somewhat to blame after all, but she denied doing anything manipulative to keep Ridge and Taylor apart.
It was just a matter of Ridge loving Brooke and Brooke loving him right back.
Although Brooke hadn’t heard anything from Ridge in a while, she opted to wait before reaching out.
Brooke also thanked Hope for being such an amazing, supportive daughter.
