The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may go home to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), but his renewed Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) love may haunt. Will Ridge’s reunion with his wife end up doomed due to his reconnection with Taylor?
During the week of May 16-20, B&B spoilers say Taylor will have serious concerns about what the future holds.
Now that Taylor has let herself fall for Ridge again, she won’t want to let him go.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will serve as a crucial confidant and help Taylor work through everything she’s feeling.
Since Steffy has always been Ridge and Taylor’s romantic cheerleader, she’ll continue to root for their next chapter.
However, things will be complicated due to Steffy’s new memories, which will reveal the reason behind her fight with Sheila at Il Giardino.
Steffy will remember the Champagne label switch fiasco and how that drove Brooke to break her sobriety.
Brooke’s betrayal never would’ve happened if it hadn’t been for Sheila’s scheme.
That fact is something that’ll weigh on Ridge and could ultimately lead to him moving home.
After the truth spreads, Brooke will be pleased when Ridge softens toward her.
Of course, you can bet Brooke will repeat her “please come home” mantra and urge Ridge to move back in.
Ridge will have to make a tough choice – and he’ll indeed make one regarding his immediate romantic future. The use of the word “immediate” is interesting here.
For starters, it implies that Ridge might make a change immediately – like moving back home to Brooke and granting her wish.
Ridge may think he owes it to Brooke to at least try to repair their marriage.
Of course, using immediate in this case could also point to Ridge having a different opinion down the road.
Ridge’s short-term relationship goal may not line up with what he does in the long-term.
That’s especially true since Taylor will pour her heart out following Ridge’s upcoming decision.
Taylor may sense that Ridge is slipping away and do whatever she can to hang onto him.
Even if Ridge still goes home to Brooke, Taylor can at least know she tried everything and let Ridge know how she truly felt.
It’s easy to see how this story might become about Ridge reuniting with Brooke – only to crave Taylor and potentially cheat!
