The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may announce that she’s leaving Los Angeles and break some tough Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) news to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave may be a factor in the storyline here, so that’s important to keep in mind.
Regardless, let’s talk about the buildup to Steffy’s difficult updates and what she’ll be dealing with.
During the week of May 23-27, B&B spoilers say Steffy will once again lean on Liam for support.
As Steffy sinks further into the pit of despair over John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death, Liam will want to be there for her.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will also console Steffy a little later.
Steffy will really be struggling as she mulls over what might’ve been and wishes she could still build a life with Finn.
During the week of May 30-June 3, Steffy will tackle a challenge.
We’ll see Steffy face the task of delivering some tough news to Liam, so that could certainly tie in with the decision to leave town.
During one of Wood’s previous maternity leaves, Steffy went to Paris for a while.
That might be what Steffy decides to do now as well – and she may announce that she intends to take Kelly with her along with Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot).
The real question might be the motivation behind Steffy’s bold move.
Steffy might admit that all the Finn memories are inescapable in the cliff house and even LA in general.
Perhaps it’d be good for Steffy to get away and process her grief elsewhere.
Of course, Steffy might also feel like she’s becoming too attached to Liam and believe she needs to take a step back.
This could partly be about creating some distance between Steffy and her ex-husband, who needs to do a better job of balancing things with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and their own family.
Whatever the case, Steffy will have some news that she apparently fears Liam isn’t going to like.
It makes sense that Steffy might announce she’s headed for Paris or some other destination with the kids soon.
Steffy may try to help Liam understand and get his approval on her big decision.
