The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will blast Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) for hiding John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) survival. As this mother-in-law defends how she secretly saved her son, Li will try to help Steffy see her perspective.
Of course, Steffy will be thankful for Li’s expertise and her willingness to fight for Finn.
Since Finn’s doctors gave up on him, Li did whatever she had to do and ultimately brought him back from the brink of death.
Steffy will certainly appreciate that part and may argue that she would’ve done the same thing in Li’s shoes.
The fact that Li smuggled Finn out of the hospital and faked the death certificate won’t be the issue. The problem will be that Li didn’t tell Steffy about it!
However, Li may point out that Steffy was in pretty bad shape herself early on.
Steffy landed in a coma after getting shot – and when Steffy woke up, the trauma of it all had her thinking Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was still her husband.
Steffy may argue that Li could’ve cleared things up for her, but Li had to focus on keeping Finn alive and couldn’t be certain her efforts would pay off.
Li also feared that Steffy would tell other Forrester family members – and that would bring more chances for the secret to leak.
The last thing Li wanted was to get caught by the cops before she could finish working all her medical magic.
Finn needed Li’s help to pull through, so B&B fans know that was her priority.
That said, Li should’ve trusted that Steffy could handle the secret by the time she came home from the hospital.
If Li had explained everything, she surely could’ve convinced Steffy to keep this between the two of them.
Steffy and Li should’ve been on the same side, so Li really did drop the ball here.
Li will get put on full blast, but she may assure Steffy that she was going to come clean once Finn started waking up.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) got in the way and deserves most of the blame at this point.
In the end, Steffy may use this opportunity to get her anger off her chest and hopefully make peace with Li.
What really matters is that Finn is alive, so Steffy will be forever grateful to Li for not giving up.
