The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may keep Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) secret, so she might hide the CPS caller setup to protect Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) reunion.
B&B fans know Thomas and Steffy have been a parent-trap team for most of this storyline. There are no two people on the planet who want their parents back together more than Steffy and Thomas do.
That’s why things could get complicated if Steffy figures out how far Thomas has taken things.
Steffy made a manipulative move of her own when she answered Ridge’s call and thwarted Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) plans for a romantic night with him.
However, that was pretty tame all things considered. It was more like a childish prank since the stakes weren’t high at all.
What Steffy did pales in comparison to the lengths Thomas has clearly gone to.
Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) has a voice changer app that he likes to play around with, so we can assume Thomas introduced Douglas to that or at least knows about it.
That explains why Brooke’s voice recording sounded strangely robotic.
It also explains why Brooke claims she isn’t behind the CPS call, but Thomas is so adamant that she was indeed the caller.
This Brooke setup is obvious, but what happens if Thomas’ secret spreads? There might be some clues for Steffy to put together as time goes on.
Thomas might even brag cryptically about what he’s done after Ridge wins Taylor back in Aspen.
That could lead to Steffy’s persistent questions and the discovery of Thomas faking Brooke’s CPS call.
Steffy would surely be upset over Thomas taking his scheme that far, especially since it put Douglas’ well-being at risk.
At the same time, Steffy might have an “all’s well that ends well” mentality and decide everything worked out for the best.
It’s just tough to believe Steffy would rat Thomas out once Taylor finally has her dream reunion with Ridge.
Would that make the situation messy enough to convince Steffy to keep her mouth shut?
