The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may put her infamous portrait with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) back up. Fans may not be able to escape the photo curse now that Steffy is set to believe she’s still married to Liam.
B&B viewers begged the show to let Steffy take that portrait down for what felt like forever.
Steffy previously kept it up as a reminder of the love that remained between Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) parents, but it was inappropriate once her relationship with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) deepened.
We later saw Steffy replace that “Steam” portrait with a collection of photos – including some of her new romance with Finn and a nod to her platonic coparenting relationship with Liam.
It felt like Steffy was beginning a new chapter and officially putting Liam in the rearview mirror.
That giant Steffy & Liam photo wasn’t around to haunt what ultimately became Steffy’s marriage to Finn.
Of course, everything’s going to change now that Steffy has amnesia.
Steffy’s going to revert back to a different time in her life – a time when she was apparently Liam’s wife and had that photo proudly displayed.
Putting that portrait back up certainly feels like something the writers would do as a way to revive that old chapter and make it new again.
That doesn’t mean fans will approve, but it does seem likely that the “Steam” portrait will make another appearance.
It could leave Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) feeling unsettled over where things stand, especially if Liam moves back in with Steffy to assist with her treatment plan.
That “Steam” portrait could once again hang ominously and signal a shift back toward Liam’s romance with his former flame.
