The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will form a theory of why Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) relapsed, but Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be torn over their new suspicions.
After Brooke finally comes clean about drinking again and throwing away her sobriety, Ridge will vow to do everything in his power to help her.
Ridge will follow through on that promise by attending an AA meeting with Brooke and listening as she declares she has a problem.
B&B spoilers say Ridge will hate the pain Brooke’s in and won’t understand why this is even happening.
Ridge knew they had faced some struggles in their marriage lately, but he thought they’re working through those challenges together.
Ridge just won’t see why Brooke would be tempted to drink again, but Thomas and Steffy will eventually come up with their own theory of why.
The siblings will apparently have a little brainstorming session and share what they’ve come up with Ridge in the aftermath.
During the week of January 10-14, Steffy and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will have an argument with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Things should get particularly heated between Hope and Steffy, who’ll obviously think her own mother is the better match for Ridge.
Hope will sense this and won’t appreciate Taylor blowing back into town to move in on Brooke’s territory.
Taylor may assure Hope that’s not what she’s doing, but Hope will still feel like Taylor and Steffy are interfering in Brooke’s marriage.
Once Steffy is alone with Taylor, she’ll dismiss Hope’s warning and push Taylor to go after what she wants.
Steffy will feel like it’s time for Taylor to win Ridge back, so that’ll lead to Taylor’s big confession. Perhaps Taylor will admit that would indeed be a dream come true.
Since all of this will happen in the buildup to Steffy and Thomas’ brainstorming session, it should shape the theory they come up with.
It’s possible Thomas and Steffy will guess Brooke is keeping something under wraps regarding Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), but it seems more likely that their theory will involve Taylor.
Maybe Steffy and Thomas will argue that Brooke can see what they see – that Ridge belongs with his former flame rather than his current wife.
Thomas and Steffy might think Brooke was driven to drink because she can see the powerful connection Ridge and Taylor still have.
Of course, Steffy and Thomas might argue that Ridge needs to end his marriage along with Brooke’s suffering.
They might think that setting Brooke free is the answer and would allow her to let go enough to recover.
However, there’s a chance working this angle could backfire if Ridge tries to create distance with Taylor instead.
If Ridge feels like he’s contributing to Brooke’s sobriety issues, he might consider staying away from Taylor – or at least attempting to.
In reality, Ridge can never stay away from any woman he admires for too long!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas and Steffy will hope for Ridge and Taylor’s reunion, which seems poised to happen down the road.
