The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may suffer a mental health setback and leave Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) worried as Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) haunts her daughter.
As soon as Steffy crossed paths with Sheila, so many terrible memories flooded back.
It was suddenly like Steffy was reliving that night in the alley, so she struggled to breathe through the horror of it all.
Steffy obviously has some serious trauma to deal with – and now that she knows Sheila’s alive, it’s all hitting her hard.
Although Steffy was overjoyed to be reunited with an alive John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), it may have distracted her from working through her PTSD.
Maybe Steffy has felt an obligation to count her blessings and focus on the good instead of the bad.
However, Steffy could easily face visions of Sheila or awful nightmares now. Was that panic attack only the beginning of a downward spiral?
Steffy might have to devote some time to her mental health if this indeed causes a setback.
Taylor could see some warning signs and urge Steffy to get some help before things go any further.
It may become clear to Taylor that Steffy isn’t coping as well as she previously thought. Finn might also battle concerns as both a doctor and Steffy’s wife.
Of course, Finn may think the best medicine for Steffy will be to find Sheila and get her locked up again.
That’d go a long way toward giving Steffy some peace of mind.
Nevertheless, Steffy could face some mental health struggles in the meantime.
All this Sheila mayhem may take a toll and force Steffy to address the traumatic issues she’s dealing with.
It’d be easy for Steffy to start questioning what’s real and what’s not if Sheila starts popping up in hallucinations and bad dreams.
That’d be the perfect way to set the stage for another confrontation in the flesh later!
Whatever the case, Steffy and Finn are set to face a new challenge related to Sheila, so Steffy’s mental health setback could be a factor.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will rely on Finn, Taylor and all her other loved ones to get through this difficult Sheila chapter, so stay tuned.
