The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may comfort Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) waffles back to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Does Hope’s reformed ex have a real shot at love?
During the week of May 2-6, Hope will battle a conflicted part as Steffy heads home with Liam by her side.
Liam will be stuck to Steffy like glue as her recovery continues, so Hope will be left to explain away her husband’s behavior.
Deep down, Hope will fret over the possibility that Liam will do what he’s done in the past and waffle between women.
Hope will know Liam has good intentions, but even the best ones can go awry!
Even so, Hope will try to justify the huge part Liam’s playing in Steffy’s recovery. She’ll no doubt keep mentioning the fact that Liam shares a child and a history with Steffy.
Of course, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) may think Hope’s spelling out all the reasons to be concerned!
Since Brooke had such a problem with Steffy thinking Liam was her husband, there’s no way she’ll be just fine and dandy with Liam essentially playing the role.
B&B spoilers say Brooke and Thomas will have clashing opinions when it comes to this Liam situation.
Brooke may be firmly against Liam serving as what amounts to a John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) substitute, but Thomas may argue Steffy’s recovery has to come first.
Whatever the case, Thomas will disagree with Brooke’s perspective and perhaps urge Hope to let Liam keep doing his thing.
We may see Thomas offer reassurance about Steffy and Liam’s platonic relationship, but what happens if things head back into sizzling “Steam” territory?
If Liam waffles back to Steffy with a forbidden kiss or perhaps something more, Thomas may feel guilty for pushing Hope to stand by her man.
It makes sense to push Thomas back in Hope’s direction here – maybe even as a legitimate romantic option now that he’s a changed man.
Thomas may find himself in a position to comfort Hope if the worst happens and Liam’s love for Steffy leads him astray.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will need someone to lean on as things get tougher, so will Thomas be that person for her?
