The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will find love at last, so he’ll get a romance that brings a chance at major character growth. Thomas has been drifting rather aimlessly when it comes to his love life, but that’s going to change in the months ahead.
According to summer preview spoilers, Thomas will keep working on trying to be the best man he can be.
B&B fans know Thomas had been doing well until his parent-trapping led him back down a manipulative path.
However, Thomas truly regrets keeping quiet about the Champagne label swap for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
It was a mistake that Thomas would undo if he could, so that has to count for something.
Thomas assured Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) that he wasn’t falling back into old patterns.
It was just a case of Thomas getting tangled up in Sheila’s web and letting it go further than it should have.
Now that Thomas has learned his lesson, he’s ready to get back on the right track and look to the future.
It’s downright criminal for B&B to have a handsome, talented actor like Matthew Atkinson and never give Thomas a romance we can root for.
Thomas was obsessed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), so that wasn’t a healthy situation at all.
There was also Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but she got her heart broken since Thomas was using her as part of his twisted plans.
Although Thomas eventually ended up crushing on Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), there was sadly no onscreen chemistry – not to mention Paris just wasn’t into him in that way.
It’s clear that Thomas needs to be in a love story where there’s mutual attraction.
Of course, the show has promised love for Thomas before and failed to deliver, so we’ll see if this love story that’s supposedly coming actually pans out.
Some fans will no doubt take the “we’ll believe it when we see it” approach since we’ve all been burned too many times.
That said, summer spoilers Thomas will find love that could help him mature in some ways.
It could be a next-level sort of love where Thomas settles down and shows how much he’s grown as a character.
Who might Thomas fall for this time around?
A Zoe recast might be an option if the show wants to give Thomas and Zoe another shot without all the manipulation.
The show could also cast someone new for Thomas or perhaps pair him up with someone surprising who’s already on canvas, so it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store.
