The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may frame Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) after the fake CPS call exposure and try to make Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) think their son pulled a prank.
Thomas could be backing himself into a corner with this bogus CPS call scheme, so what happens once everyone realizes the call was fake?
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wasn’t the one who called Child Protective Services, but there may initially be some confusion over who set her up.
Douglas has clearly been playing with this voice changer app a lot and pranking various people in his life.
After the knife incident, Brooke also voiced her concerns about Douglas emulating Thomas and felt that Thomas was underestimating just how much a boy wanted to be like his father.
That idea could come back into play if Thomas does what he does best and uses Douglas for selfish gain!
Thomas has resorted to manipulation through Douglas many times over the years, so this could be one of them.
Let’s say it comes out that Brooke wasn’t the CPS caller, but there are questions about who called instead.
To avoid facing suspicions himself, Thomas may accuse Douglas of pranking Grandma Brooke – perhaps to prove through the resulting CPS visit that he was perfectly happy at the mansion.
If B&B really wants to sink Thomas to a low point, he could pretend to feel guilty for not being a better role model to Douglas.
It’s easy to imagine Thomas acting like Douglas needs more support and maybe even convincing Hope to fully move in the mansion – just to give Douglas a two-parent home during this difficult time.
Douglas will obviously deny any wrongdoing, but Thomas could convince Hope that the boy is lying and clearly needs help.
Then again, Thomas might coach Douglas to take the blame and offer a reward in return.
If B&B takes this extra manipulative route, there’ll be no coming back for Thomas – at least not when it comes to co-parenting with Hope.
Regardless, Hope seems poised to go after full custody eventually since Thomas has no business being the primary caregiver for Douglas.
Thomas is truly unstable since he came up with this elaborate CPS call plot and may make matters worse by setting Douglas up next.
