The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) could make a surprising love connection. Will they get a chance at a new beginning together?
Summer preview spoilers reveal that Thomas will indeed land in a love story – one that could help him mature and show he’s really grown up as a character. Thomas will end up in a situation where he could take things to the next level with a woman and potentially be in an adult relationship.
Of course, the word that draws our interest here is “mature.” Does that perhaps mean Thomas is about to be paired with a woman who’s a tad older and wiser? If so, Katie might be a good option.
Since Katie is Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) ex, the idea of Thomas getting together with his dad’s former flame is soapy. Plus, it’d be fun to see Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) reaction to Thomas moving on with a different Logan woman!
It’s easy to imagine Thomas and Katie bonding over their sons, their work and their lack of success in the romance department. Katie has fallen for a younger man before since she once had a relationship with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), so it wouldn’t be that far-fetched for her to fall for Thomas next.
Since Katie can’t fully trust Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) with her heart and has been letting him try to woo her with no progress, maybe it’s time for her to move forward. The same goes for Thomas since his love life has been stalled for what feels like forever.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) should be busy in her own doomed love story with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) this summer, so it doesn’t look like she’s the woman B&B writers have in mind for Thomas.
Even when that Carter drama is over, Paris seems more likely to wind up in Zende Forrester Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) arms. With Paris off the table, Katie makes sense for Thomas as someone single and suddenly back on canvas.
