The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, April 21, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will reject reality despite Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) plan, so Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will be stuck in the past for a while.
Of course, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will continue to believe Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) have got it all wrong.
Brooke just can’t get behind the idea that deceiving Steffy is the right call.
Steffy thinks she’s still married to Liam, so he’s just rolling with it right now.
Liam will no doubt land in some other tight spots as Steffy gushes about her wonderful husband and their future together.
Brooke may argue that by letting Steffy believe something that’s false, they’re setting her up for more heartbreak.
In Brooke’s opinion, it’d be better to just rip the bandage off and trust that Steffy’s strong enough to handle the truth.
However, Taylor and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) nearly lost their beloved daughter, so they’re understandably on edge.
The last thing Ridge and Taylor want is to cause any setbacks, so they’ll stand firmly against Brooke on this.
That means a major fight will break out – one that Brooke’s going to lose for the time being.
B&B spoilers say Taylor and Ridge will put Steffy’s health first, so Brooke’s concerns Hope’s marriage will have to take a backseat.
Hope has been spying on Liam and Hope from afar, so it’s easy to see how uncomfortable she is.
Although Hope won’t want to do anything detrimental to Steffy’s recovery, she can’t stand by and do nothing.
Hope is Liam’s wife, so she’ll feel the need to protect that title. You can’t be too careful when it comes to the “Lope” and “Steam” love triangle!
Taylor and Bridget don’t think it’s wise to bombard Steffy with too much trauma, but Hope will feel like maybe Steffy could remember without delivering any news.
Hope will at least want to sit with Steffy and try to trigger some memories of her more recent life.
It’ll be Hope’s effort to pull Steffy back into reality, but Steffy won’t connect any dots and may be confused by Hope’s behavior.
Steffy will stick with her own version of the world, so her “marriage” to Liam will remain a thing for now.
That’ll leave Liam stuck playing the role of doting husband and pretending he’s still in the past with Steffy.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will keep stepping up for Steffy, but that’s going to lead to some cracks in his actual marriage to Hope.
