The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 28, reveals that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) weird vibe saved Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) life, so he protected his ex from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and her dangerous plot.
In Steffy’s hospital room, Sheila felt this overdose plan was the only way out. She figured everyone would just think Steffy got her hands on more meds, so she moved in for the kill and told Steffy goodbye.
In the waiting area on Thursday’s B&B episode, Liam talked to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) about Steffy’s ordeal.
When Liam got a weird vibe, he suggested it was probably nothing.
Even so, Liam felt the need to go check on Steffy while she was resting and left Hope to chat with Taylor.
That led to Taylor bringing up Liam’s happy memories and rich history with Steffy. Taylor was so glad that Liam had promised to be there for her daughter.
Before Sheila could do anything deadly, Liam barged in and demanded to know what she was doing in Steffy’s room.
Sheila pointed out she was a nurse, but Liam argued that she wasn’t part of Steffy’s treatment.
Nevertheless, Sheila acted like it was so hard waiting for something to happen.
Sheila told Liam she wanted to do something – and moments later, Steffy stirred awake.
Steffy seemed annoyed to see Sheila again, but she allowed her to stay.
Although Steffy acknowledged that they weren’t friends, she felt that they were both grieving John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Sheila acted like things could be different if she was given a chance.
Liam shut Sheila down since Steffy didn’t owe her anything, so Sheila decided he was right – that it wouldn’t change the past.
After Sheila left Steffy’s room, she seemed frustrated outside.
Sheila hissed that she had to put an end to this and insisted Steffy could never remember the truth about Finn’s death.
Taylor found Sheila looking upset, so Sheila admitted she was feeling helpless right now.
Sheila complained that things just kept getting worse, but Taylor promised that they’d find who did this to Finn and Steffy.
Once Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) made another plea for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to come home, he told her he could only focus on Steffy right now.
Ridge had to make sure Steffy recovered completely, so Brooke had to be OK with that.
When Brooke caught up with Hope, they discussed how Taylor had been insinuating that Liam and Steffy should be together.
Hope didn’t want to believe that, but Brooke could tell Hope got that feeling from their conversation.
Brooke admitted she didn’t trust Taylor and was sure she’d want Steffy to reunite with Liam.
Hope decided Brooke wasn’t helping her feel better, so she dashed off to go find Liam.
Back in Steffy’s room, Liam comforted Steffy as she worried about how the loss of Finn would affect the kids.
Liam assured Steffy that Finn would live on through memories and stories.
Liam knew it was hard to imagine a life without Finn, but he also knew Steffy would build one because she was a survivor.
After Liam said Steffy could count on so many people – including him – Steffy asked about Hope.
Liam insisted Steffy could count on Hope too, but that wasn’t what Steffy meant.
Liam urged Steffy not to worry about that and felt she should use him as an anchor point.
Although Liam was married to Hope, he assured Steffy that she was still part of his heart. Liam told Steffy she wouldn’t go through this alone and took her hand.
Meanwhile, Hope eavesdropped outside and looked unsettled over Liam’s growing connection to Steffy.
