The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 11, teases that Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) twist of fate will stun the Forresters while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) get some shocking Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) news.
At Forrester Creations, Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) will pass along a jaw-dropping police report. There’ll be a major development in the Sheila Carter case – one that proves to the cops that Sheila is gone for good.
Of course, Detective Sanchez’s claims will be met with some skepticism. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) won’t initially be convinced that Sheila is out of the picture forever.
As for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), she’ll be confused over what exactly Detective Sanchez means. It looks like the police will indeed believe Sheila is dead, so Taylor will think that’s a relief.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will pull Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) close and offer reassurance, but they may struggle to let go of their fear. How can anyone really be sure that Sheila is gone permanently?
Finn wasn’t dead after getting shot in that alley – and neither was Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) after her car burst into flames and sank. If Li and Finn can survive, Sheila can obviously survive whatever deadly outcome the cops think she’d faced.
This will be Sheila’s current twist of fate, but there should be another one looming at some point. Once B&B is ready for Sheila to make an explosive comeback, she’ll surely pop up when Finn, Steffy and all the others least expect it.
Until then, Liam and Hope will enjoy some family bonding with Douglas and Beth Spencer (River Davidson), but Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) proposal will throw them for a loop.
Thomas will decide to bring up something that’s apparently been on his mind. There was a time when Thomas wasn’t in the right headspace to properly care for Douglas, but those days are long gone.
Now Thomas has proven himself as a good father and will think maybe Douglas should move back in with him full-time. The notion will throw Hope into a tailspin, so she’ll no doubt try to steer Thomas in a less drastic direction – and Liam may back her up.
Although Thomas will just broach the subject for now, this doesn’t seem like something he’ll let go anytime soon. Thomas wants to be a more hands-on dad, so having Douglas move in with him again would help him achieve that.
Could this become a custody war down the road or will Hope cave in before that happens? Either way, Hope will feel like her perfect little cabin bubble is about to burst!
