The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 25, reveals that Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) unveiled a shocking portrait – and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) spy reported from the party at the Forrester mansion.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) mentioned that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was at a meeting with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
Brooke admitted she hadn’t heard from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) lately, but Hope suggested he was probably just busy at the celebration.
Although Brooke felt a little strange not being there as Ridge’s wife, she knew his family was still processing everything that happened with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Brooke thought Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was using the situation with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) to undermine her marriage.
This Forrester party was about pulling Ridge closer as far as Brooke was concerned.
However, Brooke assured Hope that she had her back on the Douglas drama and refused to let this affect the stability of her marriage.
Liam and the kids were out of the house tonight, so Hope decided she’d pay Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) a visit and said he sounded stressed on the phone.
At Deacon’s place, he remained uncomfortable with his new roommate, but Sheila thought they should make the most of it.
Sheila offered some temptation and pulled Deacon into an intense make-out session, but he pulled away since he had to leave for work.
Although Sheila pouted, Deacon said she wouldn’t be alone long and offered to bring her back something back to eat.
In the meantime, Deacon warned Sheila to lay low and stay quiet since no one could know she was there.
After Deacon left, Sheila got bored and seemed like she was preparing to leave – presumably in disguise since B&B didn’t show her face.
Suddenly, Hope entered looking for Deacon and saw Sheila with her back turned, so she asked who this mystery woman was.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor though back to her Monaco kiss with Ridge and cozied up to him at the party.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up late with a gift and expressed gratitude over Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) invitation.
Later, Donna brought out a step ladder and asked for help putting a new portrait up.
Eric didn’t think this was the right time, but Donna insisted it was actually the perfect time and long overdue.
After Donna made a speech about putting her permanent stamp on the home, she suggested this should be the first person people see when they walk through the door.
Once the portrait was unveiled, Eric was surprised to see one of himself and thanked Donna for the grand gesture.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) also thanked his family for all their support and was glad to be on the other side of some tough times.
There were hugs all around before Finn once again recalled how he dreamed of coming back to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for moments like this.
Eric thought they should come together more often – and Ridge thanked Taylor for her part in giving him this wonderful family.
Donna glared over all the warm moments Taylor shared with Ridge and snuck away to report to Brooke over the phone.
After Donna admitted it was a sweet evening, she pointed out the problem was that Taylor was there instead of Brooke.
Brooke fumed since she knew Taylor was using this family bonding time to manipulate Ridge’s feelings.
