The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 21, reveals that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) condition broke Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) heart while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) found missing Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) in an alley.
First on Thursday’s B&B episode, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) told John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) the story of escaping prison on a mission for closure.
Sheila found Li so she could demand answers about Finn’s final resting spot, but she found her beautiful boy alive instead.
After Sheila admitted that finding Finn was probably the most profound, moving moment of her entire life, he didn’t care.
Finn just wanted to know what happened to Li, so Sheila continued her story and revealed that Li betrayed her.
Sheila got agitated as she remembered Li acting like Finn belonged to both of them.
Finn learned that Li claimed she was going out for medication and tried to call for help.
Sheila also confessed to chasing after Li in her car, so she saw when Li lost control.
Finn reeled as Sheila explained how the car exploded and sank into the water.
After Finn asked if his mother was dead, Sheila said she was so sorry and confirmed Li was indeed a goner.
At the cliff house, Taylor worried since Steffy wasn’t answering her phone.
After Taylor relayed her concerns to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) showed up and said he hadn’t been able to get in touch with Steffy either.
After Ridge offered updates on Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), Taylor remembered him and fumed over Mike being on guard when Sheila escaped.
When an international number called Taylor’s phone, she assumed it was Steffy and answered right away.
The doctor on the other end was from a grief and depression clinic in Monaco since Steffy checked herself into their facility.
Steffy was really struggling, so her grief counselor had recommended 24-hour care.
Ridge got Taylor to ask about the kids, so the doctor insisted they were with Steffy and the nanny.
Taylor received reassurance that this place was more like a resort than a hospital.
Although Taylor wanted to speak with Steffy, the doctor said that wasn’t encouraged at this stage.
Steffy needed to focus on her treatment right now and was receiving excellent care.
After Taylor disconnected, Thomas got choked up over how much Steffy was suffering.
Taylor was glad to know Steffy was getting help, but she admitted this was terrible.
Ridge put all the blame on Sheila as he feared for Steffy’s mental state.
Meanwhile, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) took Bill to his new favorite seafood restaurant on the wharf.
Bill admitted he’d made no progress with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and reflected on Steffy’s awful Finn situation.
Wyatt was surprised by Bill’s compassion, but Bill acted like being a father will do that to you.
After Bill insisted he was paying, he encouraged Wyatt to go ahead and head home.
As Bill was leaving later, he heard a noise in an alley. Bill asked who was there and said if they were looking for trouble, they were about to find it.
However, Bill eventually discovered someone groaning on the ground. Although Bill feared it might be a setup, he asked if the person needed help.
B&B fans could ultimately see that it was a dirty and disheveled Li, who looked confused and seemed to be in pain.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will come through for Li and make sure she reunites with Finn, so stay tuned!
