The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 23, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) accused Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) of loving Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) after Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) ordered Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) ring off.
At Forrester Creations on Thursday’s B&B episode, Petra (Alexis Gaube) the model flirted with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), who confirmed that Paris was seeing somebody else now.
After Petra left, Zende talked to Ridge about Grace’s reaction to Carter and Paris getting together. Zende had to admit he wasn’t entirely OK with it either.
Although Zende wished Paris the best and wanted her to be happy, he pointed out that Carter was supposed to be his friend.
Zende suggested it was tough, especially when he remembered all the things Carter said when he confided about Paris.
In the design office, Carter flashed back to some steamy moments with Quinn before Paris jumped in his arms.
Paris called Carter her handsome fiancée and kissed him, but Grace suddenly appeared to shut down the make-out session.
Nevertheless, Paris made it clear that her future was with Carter and showed Grace the engagement ring.
Grace learned Carter and Paris planned to get married this week, so she flipped out and ordered her daughter to take that ring off her finger.
Paris fired back that she wasn’t asking for permission; she was telling Grace the good news.
Grace didn’t see anything good about it and warned that Carter was all wrong for Paris.
Furthermore, Grace felt that something was up since this wedding was happening so fast.
Paris ultimately spoke with Grace alone and felt like her mom’s own failed marriage was clouding her view.
Although Grace wished she could’ve taught Paris and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) what a loving relationship should look like, she stood her ground on Carter.
Grace argued that Carter was saying all the right words, but she wasn’t buying this and felt there was more to the story.
Once Carter joined Ridge in the main office, they bickered about Paris. Ridge argued that Carter was rushing into a marriage when Paris was with Zende five minutes ago!
Carter said his feelings weren’t going to change, so he was counting on Ridge to be supportive. Ridge just wanted to understand since he could tell Carter didn’t love Paris.
After Ridge admitted he’d seen Carter in love before, he pointed out it was with Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife. Ridge insisted that Carter loved Quinn and waited for him to confess.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn flashed back to a painful moment with Carter before Eric appeared.
Eric talked about Quinn seeming quiet, so she said she was just thinking about how one mistake can change the direction of your entire life.
Quinn opened up about their marriage and how she wanted to get back to feeling like she belonged.
Once Quinn realized the conversation was getting too heavy, she brought up the beach club and how much Eric enjoyed it.
Eric assured Quinn that everyone wanted to feel appreciated and secure in a relationship. However, Quinn also felt that love and passion were important.
That led to Quinn mentioning how trust had to be built over time.
Quinn suggested that wasn’t obvious to everyone, so Eric assumed she was referring to Carter and whatever decision he had to make.
After Quinn argued it wasn’t her place to judge Carter’s personal choices, she brought Eric up to speed on his engagement to Paris.
Eric had no idea that Paris and Carter were involved.
Quinn mentioned how smitten Paris was, so Eric realized she didn’t think Carter felt the same.
Eric wondered if Carter said anything to make Quinn question his commitment or doubt his love for Paris.
Once Eric pointed out that Carter had been looking for a real relationship for a long time, he suggested the groom-to-be should go for it.
Quinn and Eric acknowledged that love can make you do some crazy, reckless things.
Eric hoped for the best, but he sensed Quinn didn’t think Paris was the woman Carter truly loved.
