The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 10, reveals that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) granted Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) a quick divorce while Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) declared love.
First on Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke wished she could just wake up and have all this be a bad nightmare. She beat herself up over her choices and expressed regret over hurting Ridge.
Brooke didn’t know why she could never seem to learn from her mistakes and worried this was just who she was. She wanted Ridge to be truly happy, so she insisted she was going to let him go.
Brooke thought that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was steady and predictable in a good way. She knew Ridge needed to be able to trust his partner and loved him more than anything.
Brooke said that’s why she would let Ridge go and give him a divorce. Although Brooke cherished their life together and would do anything to get it back, she now knew that wasn’t possible.
Ridge struggled to wrap his head around this, but Brooke assured Ridge that she’d make their divorce quick, easy and as painless as possible.
Brooke said why not be with somebody who cares about him like Taylor and urged Ridge to go be with his other family.
Ridge wondered how they reached this point, but Brooke didn’t know and didn’t blame Ridge for anything.
Brooke acknowledged how she’d messed up and was so sorry. Brooke cried about how she never stopped loving Ridge, so he teared up as he held her.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was distracted while sketching a design.
Thomas thought back to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) telling him about her label swap scheme before Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) walked in.
Steffy could tell something was on Thomas’ mind and teased him about putting a strain on his brain.
Steffy felt that Thomas should be as thrilled as she was over Taylor and Ridge reuniting.
Steffy kept trashing Brooke and talking about the magnitude of her betrayal. Thomas agreed to some extent, though he tried to chime in with a “but…”
Steffy said no buts and didn’t think drinking justified Brooke’s behavior in any way. She said there was no excuse for what Brooke did – none!
In the design office, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) picked up on Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) sense of urgency.
Grace suggested Zende wasn’t the only man who knew Paris was an extraordinary young woman, but she was certain that Zende was her daughter’s best match.
Zende said he was ready to spend the rest of his life with Paris, but he never got the chance to propose.
Paris made it clear that she wasn’t on the same page, so Zende decided not to offer the engagement ring.
Grace argued that Zende should get that ring, find Paris and go through with the proposal this time.
Grace insisted that if Zende waited too long, his chance would pass him by.
Grace assured Zende that if he asked Paris to marry him, she would say yes. “She’ll be your wife,” Grace promised as she made a hasty exit.
At Carter’s loft, he thought back to one of Grace’s threats and pumped the brakes with Paris again.
Carter felt his track record in relationships was horrendous and didn’t think he could give Paris the same amazing life as Zende.
Carter talked about everything Paris would have to give up just to be with him, including a peaceful existence with her mother.
If Zende proposed, Carter said Paris should do herself a favor and accept.
Paris argued that she’d never met a man who touched her on the same deep level – not like Carter did.
Paris was willing to risk everything for Carter, but he worried about her throwing away the life that the Forresters made possible.
“I love my job, but I love you more!” Paris blurted out.
That caught Carter off guard, but he admitted that he loved Paris too and kissed her passionately.
Moments later, Grace started pounding on the door. She revealed that it was Grace and ordered Carter to open this door now.
That left Carter and Paris looking nervous as they stood there half-dressed!
