The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 12, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) confessed, but she blamed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Sheila put John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) blood on the widow’s hands, so here’s how all the B&B drama went down.
At the cliff house, Sheila acted appalled over how Steffy was treating her. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) made it clear that Sheila was going to answer for what she’d done, but Sheila suggested Steffy was the delusional one here.
After Sheila said she’d never deliberately end Finn’s life, Steffy reiterated that she remembered the whole thing.
Sheila reminded Steffy that she woke up thinking she was married to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and didn’t even remember Finn or Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) at first.
Although Sheila tried to cast doubt on Steffy’s hazy memories now, Steffy insisted she recalled exactly what happened.
Taylor and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) sided with Steffy, but Sheila kept arguing that she wasn’t a violent person anymore.
Sheila even brought up the fact that she saved Taylor’s life on the ledge, so Steffy got updates and was surprised – though not impressed.
After Steffy recapped how Finn took a bullet for her, she insisted that Sheila stopped her from calling 911 and shot her next.
Steffy shouted about Finn’s blood being on Sheila’s hands.
Sheila was finally goaded into admitting she killed Finn, but she insisted it was an accident and that it haunted her every day.
Steffy hoped Sheila would die behind bars, but Sheila felt Finn would still be here if it weren’t for Steffy.
Once Sheila reminded Steffy that she initiated the chase, she insisted Steffy was the reason she lost her own husband and that Hayes lost his daddy.
Sheila felt this was all Steffy’s fault for forcing her to defend her relationship with her son.
After Sheila declared that Finn’s blood was on Steffy’s hands instead, Steffy yelled that it wasn’t and had to be held back from attacking her enemy.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) showed up and found her with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Although Deacon was glad to see them both, he grumbled about Ridge and seemed doubtful that Brooke’s husband would come back once Steffy was settled.
Hope convinced Deacon to change topics, so he admitted he came over with mind-blowing news related to the shooting.
Deacon thought it was crazy how tragedy could change things and ultimately admitted that Taylor called Sheila over to the cliff house.
Once Deacon said Sheila might be welcomed into Hayes’ life, Hope and Brooke looked uneasy.
