The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, October 20, teases that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will share her dream with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) quizzes Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) about Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
At Forrester Creations, Shauna will join Carter in the design office.
We’ll see Carter ask plenty of questions about Quinn’s frame of mind and why she felt the need to cut herself out of his life.
Shauna and Quinn are BFFs, so they’ve probably had multiple conversations about her split from Carter offscreen.
However, Carter already knows that Quinn felt like they were headed down different roads.
Quinn did the whole marriage thing and raised Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), so she wasn’t looking to remarry and have more kids.
Since Quinn didn’t want to stop Carter from marrying someone else and starting a family, she felt the need to step aside.
Shauna will likely repeat some version of that and perhaps suggest that Quinn didn’t feel worthy of Carter in the end.
Whatever the case, Shauna will get that Quinn’s actions were hurtful, so she won’t think Carter should wallow in his heartbreak.
B&B spoilers say Shauna will stay optimistic about Carter’s future with some other wonderful woman.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) could be Carter’s next love interest if all the flirting and mutual support continues.
Next, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) will pop up to help with a Forrester deal, so this might involve tying up some loose ends regarding Quinn’s jewelry line.
As for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), she’ll rush to Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) defense again as Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) rages about Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) reunion with her.
Hope also blames Steffy for helping Taylor win Ridge over, but she’s refusing to stand by and take this.
Of course, Steffy may argue that Hope doesn’t have much of a choice since Ridge picked Taylor and intends to stay with her forever.
Nevertheless, “forever” isn’t really an option on soaps with so many wafflers like Ridge around.
Ridge is bound to drift back toward Brooke sooner or later, so Steffy will have to watch Taylor be the love triangle loser again.
In the meantime, Brooke will open up to Liam about her dream for the future.
There’s nothing Brooke would love more than to reunite with Ridge and finally put all the conflict behind them.
Brooke may share some special “Bridge” plans as part of her vision and wish for better days.
Liam will no doubt urge Brooke to keep hope alive, but part of her will worry her dream will never come to pass.
Naturally, this is just a matter of patience since Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) CPS call setup could change everything!
