The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thursday, October 27 Recap – Hope Mannequin’s Unsettling Comeback – Douglas Rejects Liam

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 27, reveals that the Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) mannequin made an unsettling comeback while Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) rejected Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Here’s how all the action played out on Thursday’s B&B episode.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made arrangements over the phone for an Eye on Fashion exclusive interview and told the person on the other end that she’d see them at the preview.

When Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived, Steffy gloated that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was probably with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).

Since Steffy wasn’t interested in another lecture on destiny, she thought Brooke should let her get back to work.

Steffy argued that Brooke and Hope wanted to point fingers, but Brooke had the breakup coming – and Ridge’s mind was made up about the annulment.

Once talk turned to Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) being in a meeting, Brooke voiced concerns about Thomas getting too close.

Steffy insisted that Thomas wasn’t obsessed with Hope anymore and didn’t think Ridge would like Brooke harassing his son.

Brooke denied harassing Thomas and thought Ridge would understand her desire to protect Hope, especially considering Thomas’ troubling history.

If Thomas was trying to drive a wedge in Hope’s marriage using Douglas, then Brooke wanted to stand against that.

In the design office, Thomas assured Hope that he was flattered and that she didn’t have to feel self-conscious about thinking he was hot.

Hope argued that context was important, but she really just wanted to move past this.

Once Hope mentioned a specific dress she wanted to look at, she went behind the changing screen to see it.

Thomas called out to stop Hope, but it was too late since she came face to face with the infamous Hope mannequin.

Hope gasped and demanded an explanation, so Thomas said someone brought the doll up without him knowing about it.

As far as Thomas was concerned, that thing should’ve been burned to the ground.

Thomas didn’t want a reminder of that terrible time and begged Hope to believe him, so she admitted she did.

Hope reflected on all the positive changes Thomas had made and was grateful for the work he’d done on her line.

Thomas cracked another joke about Hope thinking he was hot, so Brooke reeled as she eavesdropped.

Once Brooke barged in, she asked to speak with Hope alone and confronted her about encouraging Thomas.

Hope gave her usual spiel about believing Thomas was capable of change, but Brooke wanted answers about Hope calling Thomas hot.

After Hope explained what happened with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), Brooke still worried her daughter was letting her guard down.

When Brooke mentioned the mannequin Thomas used to have, Hope’s eyes darted over to the changing screen – though she didn’t fill her mom in.

Since Hope had to get back to work, she reassured Brooke and said they’d put a pin in this until later.

Meanwhile, Thomas complained to Steffy since he didn’t want Brooke interfering in his relationship with Hope.

Steffy questioned Thomas’ use of the word “relationship,” but he claimed he just meant at work and as co-parents to Douglas.

After Hope walked in, Steffy offered her office for their meeting and urged Thomas to keep his pants on as she left.

Hope realized Thomas must’ve told the story about getting caught in a state of undress, but he insisted he didn’t tell Steffy about Hope saying he was hot.

Once Brooke’s name came up, Hope let Thomas know she meant what she said earlier and had seen all the effort he’d put in.

Thomas urged Hope to try on his latest design, so she stepped behind the changing screen and put it on.

Hope gushed over the dress being breathtaking, so Thomas replied that Hope herself was breathtaking.

When Hope suggested bringing in the sides to help with the fall of the dress, Thomas moved in close and flashed back to imagining their kiss.

Thomas thought to himself that it was just a fantasy and knew he had to stop.

Hope wondered if Thomas was OK, so he lied that he was and reminded himself that Hope was married.

At the Forrester mansion, Liam was impressed over how good Douglas was getting at chess.

Douglas revealed Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was giving him secret pointers since she used to keep score for her high school chess club.

After Liam admitted he really missed Douglas along with Hope and Beth Spencer (River Davidson), he asked if maybe it was time to come home.

Douglas wondered if had to leave, so Eric Forrester (John McCook) confirmed that he could stay and let Liam have some alone time with him.

Liam insisted it wasn’t the same at the cabin without Douglas, but Douglas wanted to be with both his parents – his mom and his real dad.

Although Douglas thought Liam was really cool, he preferred hanging out with his real family there at the mansion.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s much more Douglas drama to come, so stay tuned!
