First on Thursday’s B&B episode, Brooke will grow increasingly worried when she doesn’t hear back from Ridge. Since Ridge didn’t tell Brooke what the problem was or where he was going, she’ll be understandably upset.
Fortunately, Bill’s surprise visit will help Brooke put at least some of the puzzle pieces together. Bill will admit he’s selling his place in Aspen and that he’s giving Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) the first chance at buying it.
That’ll lead to Bill’s updates on Steffy and Taylor’s trip, so the wheels will start turning for Brooke. It’ll eventually dawn on Brooke that Ridge must’ve gone to Aspen as well.
Of course, Brooke will have no intention of letting Taylor win the battle for Ridge’s heart, so it won’t be long until she decides she should take a flight to Aspen, too.
What Brooke doesn’t realize is that Taylor has currently given up on Ridge. Taylor is tired of being a second choice and doesn’t want Ridge to choose her just because Brooke let him down again.
That’s exactly what Ridge is doing since he believes Brooke called CPS and lied to his face about it. Now Ridge is there to proclaim his love for Taylor and fight for a new path forward together.
Since Taylor has seen this film before and didn’t like the ending, she’ll naturally be reluctant to cave in. Taylor won’t want to sign up for more heartbreak and just watch Ridge go back to Brooke again as usual.
Nevertheless, Ridge knows how to tug at Taylor’s heartstrings, so he’ll make a passionate plea and no doubt insist that things are going to be different this time. Ridge may argue that he’s finally realized Taylor is the woman he’s meant to be with.
