The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 16, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) made a heartbreaking Katie Logan (Heather Tom) confession while Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) secret stunned Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
After Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) left the office together, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) pitched an idea to Ridge.
Thomas expressed his desire to live at the Forrester mansion with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) and give his son the full Forrester experience.
Once Eric Forrester (John McCook) arrived, he got updates on Thomas’ request and admitted he’d be thrilled to have them both.
Eric questioned what changed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but Thomas acted like this was just about being a real parent and raising his son like he should.
Thomas wanted to give Douglas a sense of belonging, so Eric reiterated that he’d love nothing more than for both of them to stay.
Once Hope was alone with Brooke at Il Giardino, they continued to debate the Douglas situation on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
Brooke didn’t think Thomas was ready to raise Douglas by himself and vowed that the boy would remain at the cabin.
After Brooke said she’d talk to Ridge, she insisted they wouldn’t let Thomas take Douglas from his home.
At Bill’s house, he admitted he’d seen the consequences of betrayal – both as the betrayer and the betrayed.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) assured Bill that she wouldn’t lump him in with Jack Finnegan (Ted King), who brought chaos into their lives – unlike Bill, who saved them from it.
Once Li asked about Bill’s wife, he confessed he was on his own at the house and hadn’t been married to Katie in quite some time.
Bill said he hadn’t been able to reconcile with Katie, who didn’t see eye to eye with him on how far he’d go to keep his sons out of trouble.
That was something Bill thought Li could relate to, so he suggested they’d have a lot in common if they got to know each other.
Li once again thanked Bill for helping when no one else would in that alley.
After Li said that Bill saved her as well as John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), she gave Bill a sweet hug.
At the cliff house, Steffy turned Taylor’s attention back to Ridge and how obvious it was that her parents were in love.
Steffy didn’t think Taylor should waste any more time, so Taylor flashed back to some Monaco kiss memories.
Back at Forrester Creations, Brooke startled Ridge since he was deep in thought.
Before Brooke could mention her Douglas concerns, Ridge brought up what happened in Monaco and admitted to getting swept up in the intensity.
Once all the darkness was lifted from Steffy’s life, Ridge said he just got lost in the joy with Taylor.
After Ridge revealed the kiss shared with Taylor in Monaco, Brooke gaped in shock.
