The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 16, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage will take a hit while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) takes the next step toward living with Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) full-time.
Since Thomas wants to move Douglas in the Forrester mansion, he’ll have a conversation with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and get his approval.
Eric has missed having Forrester family members in his home, so he’d be thrilled to have two familiar faces under his roof.
Of course, Eric may wonder how Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) feels about this, but Thomas will think he has to do what’s best for Douglas.
It’s clear that Douglas has been missing his dad lately, so Thomas will hope this mansion move will help strengthen their bond.
Once Thomas gets the green light from Eric, he’ll want to convince Hope this is the right call.
We’ll see Thomas take a firmer stance on the custody issue and prepare for a tough discussion with Hope.
Other B&B spoilers say Ridge will make a confession that leaves Brooke reeling.
Brooke will find out what happened in Monte Carlo, which means the kiss secret will be revealed.
Ridge and Brooke’s marriage is already on shaky ground since Ridge hasn’t completely recommitted yet.
The fact that Ridge was off making out with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) certainly won’t help matters.
However, Ridge may play it off as a one-time deal – just something that came out of nowhere while he was feeling so much bliss.
Taylor and Ridge were both on cloud nine over John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) finding his way back to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Ridge might even confess with the hope that they can wipe the slate clean.
This could lead to Ridge making that recommitment Brooke wants, but their marriage will still take a hit while Brooke processes the lip lock.
Nevertheless, Brooke wants a full reunion too badly to let a kiss get in her way.
Since Brooke has made mistakes of her own, she may give Ridge a pass and mostly hold Taylor responsible.
