The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, December 20 Recap – Thomas Goes Underground – Finn Rages Over Botched Sheila Grab

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 20, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) warned that the cops couldn’t lose Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) agreed and suggested the officer should do a PIT maneuver, but Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) didn’t want to endanger the public.

Finn argued that letting Sheila go was the most dangerous thing – and Steffy added that Sheila would do whatever it took to protect herself.

On the highway, Sheila tried to lose the cop tailing her by speeding, but she fumed once she hit traffic and came to a stop.

As Sheila’s anger erupted, she honked the horn and insisted she wasn’t going down like this.

After a delivery truck moved on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Sheila found an opening and took it.

The cop was blocked in and couldn’t get around, so he told Deputy Chief Baker that Sheila was gone over the radio.

“Don’t ever count me out,” Sheila said with an evil chuckle while speeding down the road.

Baker wanted all units canvassing the area and pushed for updates every 10 minutes.

Since they lost Sheila around Beverly Hills, Baker acknowledged that was close to Steffy and Finn’s loved ones.

Baker urged Finn and Steffy to alert their security teams, but they both lashed out over the police letting Sheila slip through their fingers again.

Finn was especially furious as he ranted about his family being in incredible danger.

Deputy Chief Baker vowed to bring Sheila to justice, but Steffy struggled to believe it since Sheila always managed to escape.

Finn reassured Steffy in private, but she thought back to what happened in the alley and how Finn almost died.

Finn insisted that he wouldn’t give up until Sheila was brought to justice and back in prison. Once Finn said his family would be safe, Steffy cried in his arms.

At Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) house, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) heard about her sister’s decision to choose herself over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Although Katie was proud, she also knew Ridge was the love of Brooke’s life.

Katie pointed out that Brooke could be honest, so Brooke admitted to feeling a little sense of loss – though she mostly felt free now that she’d stood with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and dumped Ridge.

Brooke eventually invited Katie to the Christmas gathering at the Forrester mansion.

Both Katie and Brooke hoped Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t be there.

Brooke mentioned that nobody had heard from Thomas, who had gone underground.

That news was probably for the best since they already had Sheila to think about.

After Brooke noted that RJ Forrester (last played by Anthony Turpel) was spending Christmas with friends, Katie said Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George) was also with friends for the holidays and wouldn’t be home either.

However, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had made a pitch about spending time sailing on the Stella Maris with Katie and Will.

Katie filled Brooke in on that and how upset Bill had been over the rejection, so Brooke acknowledged that it was a difficult time of year.

Talk turned back to Sheila, so Brooke declared she could be anywhere and was capable of anything.

That said, if Sheila really wanted to hurt them, Brooke argued that she’d had plenty of time to do it already.

Brooke insisted they couldn’t let Sheila control them with fear and told Katie they had to focus on celebrating the holidays.

Once Brooke assured Katie that they had enough security, she expressed confidence in the police and thought Sheila couldn’t get away this time.

“You thought you could catch me…think again,” Sheila said with a cackle while out on foot.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila will continue to make waves, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
