The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 1, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) suspected Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) new man while Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) blamed Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) pain. Here’s how all the drama played out on Tuesday’s B&B show.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanted to hear everything Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Steffy insisted this could change everything, so she pushed for every last detail.
Thomas recapped Douglas’ story of seeing Grandma kissing Santa on New Year’s Eve when he went up to the main house for his stuffed rabbit.
When Thomas urged Douglas to remember the man’s face, Douglas recalled it was Deacon sporting a Santa hat.
Steffy was appalled over Brooke Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) turning to the one person that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) hated more than anyone.
“What was she thinking?!” Steffy wondered aloud.
When Steffy found out Brooke urged Douglas to keep quiet, she thought it was a typical Logan cover-up.
Steffy ultimately got excited about what this could mean for Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), but she sensed that Thomas might be wavering on whether Douglas’ claims were true.
Steffy reminded Thomas that Douglas revealed Beth Spencer (River Davidson) was alive.
Although Thomas believed Douglas, he thought they had to be sure.
Steffy remained thrilled at the prospect of reuniting Taylor with Ridge and thought this could be a chance for the Forresters to win over the Logans.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) did her best to reassure Brooke.
Hope advised Brooke to stop putting so much pressure on herself, especially since her mom just recommitted to her sobriety.
Instead, Hope wanted Brooke to stay positive and trust that the secret would remain under wraps.
At Il Giardino, Ridge argued that Brooke tolerated Deacon because of Hope and suggested thinking it was anything more was just delusional.
Deacon made a comment about how “if you only knew,” so Ridge grilled him about what he meant by that.
Deacon stayed tight lipped, so Ridge thought he was just the same old lying con man.
Ridge wasn’t buying that Deacon had changed and vowed to protect Brooke as well as Hope from him.
Deacon insisted he wanted to protect Brooke and Hope too, so Ridge asked what he was protecting them from.
Ridge kept hounding Deacon about it, so Deacon called Ridge a bully.
“What are we? Twelve?” Ridge asked. He thought if Deacon really wanted to protect Brooke, he’d just sneak off in the middle of the night.
Ridge felt that Deacon’s presence was bad for Brooke, but Deacon disagreed.
“Shows how much you know, Ridge!” Deacon declared.
At Forrester Creations, Katie tried to fill a distracted Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) in on some design panel questions.
Paris interrupted briefly, so Katie witnessed the awkwardness between them.
Once Zende was alone with Katie again, he confessed to feeling blindsided by Paris wanting to keep things casual.
It threw Zende for a loop since Paris never acted like she wanted her freedom before.
Katie wondered if maybe another guy caught Paris’ eye.
Katie wasn’t trying to make Zende feel insecure, but she thought he should consider the possibility that another man was in Paris’ life. A nervous Paris popped up just in time to overhear.
In the design office, Grace demanded to know how long Carter had his eye on Paris.
Carter tried to play dumb, but Grace wasn’t having it and ranted about how Carter was treating Zende – a man he claimed to call a friend.
If Carter thought so much of Zende, Grace wondered why he was kissing Paris.
Grace snapped that she saw Carter kissing her daughter and went on a tirade over his lack of morals. Grace accused Carter of going behind his so-called friend’s back and trying to steal his girlfriend.
Carter argued that it wasn’t like that, but Grace fired back that she would NOT let this continue!
Grace had spoken to Zoe about Carter’s affair with Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife and how much that hurt Zoe.
Grace felt that Carter was untrustworthy and duplicitous for sneaking around with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Grace insisted that Carter crossed the line with what he did to Zoe, so she wasn’t going to stand by and let that happen to Paris.
Grace continued ranting about Carter carrying on with Quinn behind her daughter’s back, but Carter pointed out that wasn’t the reason for his derailed engagement.
Carter clarified that the reason he wasn’t engaged to Zoe was because she threw herself at Zende.
Carter argued that Zoe had moved on with her life and was doing well, but Grace corrected him on that.
Zoe had moved on professionally, but she was hung up on Carter personally and hurting because of it.
Grace added that Paris was a jewel to be treasured. Grace warned that if Carter didn’t stop, then she would go to the Forresters and tell them what Carter was doing to Zende.
Grace warned that the Forrester family wouldn’t forgive Carter this time.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Grace will fight hard to push Carter out of the picture, so stay tuned!
