The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 8, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) slammed Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) over her destiny while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) slipped up with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Here’s how things went down on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) indulged in a make-out session with Steffy and tried to put a smile on her face.
Steffy was grateful to have Finn as her “little bit of sanity when the world doesn’t make sense.”
Steffy was still reeling over Brooke kissing and spending the night with Deacon.
Steffy couldn’t figure out what Brooke was thinking – and when Taylor appeared, she admitted she’d been asking herself that all night.
Finn had been filled in offscreen, but he was shocked over Brooke’s betrayal.
After Steffy mentioned how Brooke pressured Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to keep quiet, Taylor was appalled.
Taylor felt this situation was disturbing on so many levels.
Steffy was adamant that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) needed to be free of Brooke.
Steffy felt Ridge belonged with Taylor as well as the Forrester family and insisted that cameras didn’t lie.
Steffy was certain about Brooke betraying Ridge with Deacon and refused to let the two of them play her father for a fool.
Taylor agreed that Ridge deserved to know the truth. She assured Steffy that they wouldn’t let Brooke get away with this.
Steffy felt they needed to act now before Brooke caught on and had time to come up with some crazy excuse that Ridge would believe.
Taylor decided she’d be the one to tell Ridge what happened.
Taylor felt Ridge needed to hear it from her, so Steffy backed her mom up and was excited over their family’s potential new chapter.
At home, Ridge was concerned since Brooke was still beating herself up over New Year’s Eve.
Brooke was sorry and said Ridge deserved better than the woman she was that night.
Brooke still didn’t understand the choices she made, but Ridge reassured Brooke as usual.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) entered and looked uncomfortable over all Ridge’s praise for Brooke.
Ridge spoke about his commitment and made it clear that he wasn’t going anywhere.
Ridge then got a text and joked that he lied since he had to leave, but told Hope to take care of Brooke while he was gone.
Once Ridge headed out, Brooke said the secret was killing her.
Brooke didn’t think she could do this anymore and confirmed to Hope that she wanted to tell Ridge the whole truth.
Every time Ridge supported Brooke, she just felt guiltier.
Hope approved of Brooke’s decision and thought it was a really brave thing to do. Hope felt Ridge’s love for Brooke would win out over his hatred for Deacon.
If Hope were a betting person, she was willing to bet that Brooke could make Ridge understand and forgive her.
Later, Steffy showed up to talk to Brooke about Ridge.
Steffy pointed out Ridge was such a good man and acknowledged that Brooke had spent a lot of time with him over the years.
Steffy taunted Brooke over it being destiny and thought she was lucky to have a man like Ridge – someone who had stood by her through all the scandals and betrayals.
“I’m sorry?!” an offended Brooke replied.
Steffy insisted Brooke indeed said “I’m sorry” after her many mistakes and argued that not a lot of men would hang in there.
Steffy added that’s what she meant when she said Brooke was lucky.
Brooke argued that if Steffy’s intention was to come over there and insult her, then Steffy had succeeded.
Since Brooke didn’t understand where all this was coming from, Steffy explained that she wanted her father to have someone committed to him and only him.
Steffy felt that would never be Brooke.
After Ridge got a message summoning him to the cliff house, he dashed over right away.
Taylor struggled over what she had to say, but she assured Ridge that the kids were fine.
Ridge felt he could handle anything else and thought Taylor should just tell him.
Once Taylor mentioned Ridge’s loyalty to Brooke being a thing of wonder, she insisted that loyalty was misplaced.
Ridge was upset over everyone criticizing his wife, but Taylor argued that Brooke’s actions had put her in that position.
Taylor wished she didn’t have this information since she knew how much pain it would cause Ridge.
However, Taylor felt she had to tell Ridge about Brooke and what she did on New Year’s Eve.
Next, Deacon stopped by Sheila’s hotel room and complained about Ridge being a “pompous ass.”
Deacon told Sheila how Ridge demanded that he hit the road and abandon his daughter.
Sheila knew Deacon was nowhere near ready to leave this happy little dream world with Hope and the grandkids.
Sheila mentioned how Brooke was Deacon’s main motivator and felt he just might have a chance with her.
When Sheila asked about Deacon’s plan, he admitted he didn’t have one. Deacon was all about going with the flow, which Sheila understood.
Even so, Sheila was jealous of Deacon’s progress and figured he must be at least a little tempted to go to Ridge with his explosive info.
Sheila thought that drinking with Brooke gave Deacon powerful ammunition, but Deacon refused to take a wrecking ball to Brooke’s marriage.
That said, Deacon suggested it’d be “pretty damn sweet” to take Ridge’s ego down a few pegs.
Deacon mentioned something about “if he’d only known,” so Sheila wondered what it was that Ridge didn’t know.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila will keep pushing for the rest of the story, so stay tuned for more secret spillage!
