The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 8, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be confused over Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) news – and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be ready to blast Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
After wrestling with her New Year’s Eve secret for over a month, Brooke will finally resolve to confess on Tuesday’s episode.
It’s not like Brooke can move on and have a normal marriage like this.
Brooke will feel like she has to come clean about everything that happened with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that night.
Brooke will hope she can make Ridge see that it was just a drunken mistake – a simple kiss that ended with Brooke conked out next to a fully clothed Deacon.
Of course, B&B characters often suffer from bad timing – and that’ll certainly be the case for Brooke.
If Brooke had just made this decision a little sooner, perhaps there’d be a different outcome to all this.
Alas, Brooke waited too long, so now it’ll be Taylor who drops the Deacon bombshell.
Taylor will feel like Ridge needs to hear the truth from someone he trusts as well as someone who can be a little softer in delivering the blow.
Steffy would inevitably be too harsh considering her hatred for Brooke, so Taylor will feel like she’s the best person for the job.
Taylor is used to keeping her emotions in check in therapy sessions, so she’ll steady herself and call Ridge over to tell him what she’s learned.
That means Brooke won’t be able to tell Ridge her version of events yet.
Ridge is going to hear Taylor’s version instead – and she assumes the worst when it comes to Deacon spending the night at Brooke’s place.
Taylor naturally believes Brooke slept with Deacon, so she’ll try to brace Ridge for this upsetting revelation.
Ridge won’t understand what Taylor’s getting at when she starts speaking cryptically about the issues in his marriage.
Ridge will feel like this must be about Brooke’s drinking, so that secret will leak by midweek before the bigger cheating bomb.
As for Steffy, she’ll prepare to pay Brooke a visit and unleash her wrath in a big way!
