The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 5, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made a video call confession while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) restarted John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) heart.
First on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Steffy looked through old pics of Finn on her tablet and said his name aloud.
It seemed like Steffy still felt connected to Finn due to her strange expression.
Next, Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) was alarmed as Sheila decided she’d shock Finn back to life.
Although Mike worried Sheila would kill Finn, she argued that he’d die for sure if she didn’t do something.
Sheila refused to lose Finn again, so she cranked up the machine and repeatedly shocked Finn’s heart.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Finn’s heart started beating once more.
Sheila was overwhelmed with relief as she cried over Finn’s chest. Once Finn mumbled and seemed to be on the verge of waking up, Sheila ordered Mike out.
Finn ultimately opened his eyes and struggled to bring Sheila into focus.
After Finn called Sheila “Mom,” she confirmed that his mom was there and that she knew he was confused.
Sheila urged Finn not to talk and marveled over the miracle of bringing Finn back to life.
At the cliff house, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) visited Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and expressed frustration since the police had no word on Sheila. Ridge wanted Sheila back in jail before someone else got hurt.
After Taylor said she was just thinking about calling Steffy, Ridge suggested they could do it together.
Steffy was glad to hear from her parents via video chat, but she confessed she was sad thinking about what this trip would’ve been like with Finn.
Taylor encouraged Steffy to let herself feel all the emotions, so Steffy confirmed that’s what she was doing – even the ones she couldn’t fully understand.
The conversation shifted to the hunt for Sheila and all the security that Ridge had in place.
Ridge assured Steffy that they’d get through this together and that they’d get her whatever she needed, but Steffy needed Finn and felt that no one could bring him back.
After disconnecting, Taylor reflected on Steffy’s pain and how her heart broke for her daughter.
None of this made sense to Taylor, who didn’t understand how Sheila even woke up in the morning after what she did to Finn.
Taylor was glad she got to witness Steffy and Finn’s love firsthand when she moved in upon her return to Los Angeles.
Ridge said Steffy would hopefully learn to heal one day and offered a warm embrace.
Back with Steffy, she gazed at more pics on her tablet and flashed back to some romantic moments with Finn.
Steffy still seemed like she could sense Finn due to their deep cosmic bond.
