The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, May 17, tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will make a plea that forces Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) choice – and terrified Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will confess to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Now that Ridge has delivered the news of all Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) horrible crimes, things make more sense to Brooke.
From the get-go, Brooke just couldn’t understand why she’d have the urge to drink after years of sobriety.
It’s not like Brooke had been struggling with temptation before that night, so it was unusual for her to suddenly fall off the wagon.
Brooke was relieved to find the trigger when Ridge revealed Sheila’s Champagne label switch.
Although Brooke knows she still made mistakes, she’ll hope this will change Ridge’s perspective.
What happened with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was set in motion by Brooke’ drinking – and the only reason Brooke drank was because of Sheila.
That’ll indeed make a difference to Ridge, but he’ll still be stuck on Brooke’s betrayal.
Ridge warned Brooke about the dangers of letting Deacon too close, but she didn’t listen.
Brooke also lied to cover up the kiss and Deacon’s night in her bed – even though nothing too passionate went down.
There’s also the matter of how Brooke rushed to Deacon’s defense in the aftermath, so Ridge will remember all that and hesitate on a “Bridge” reunion.
Nevertheless, Brooke will hope for reconciliation and deliver a desperate plea.
Although Brooke will beg Ridge to come home and work things out, it won’t be that simple for him.
Ridge will face a difficult choice, especially since he’s grown so close to Taylor in recent months.
This is all building to Ridge moving on the Forrester property and using a more neutral space to sort out his feelings.
In the meantime, Taylor will come clean to Steffy about the depth of her feelings for Ridge and how scared she is of losing him.
Steffy will do her best to offer good advice and be a source of comfort to her concerned mom.
Taylor has enjoyed having Ridge nearby in Steffy’s guest house, but he’ll have some bad news for her by midweek!
