The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 31, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) grief will bring Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) Europe escape – and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) will get Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) answer.
At Forrester Creations, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) just urged Steffy to get out of town with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot) for a while.
Taylor feels like Steffy would benefit from a new perspective away from all the painful memories.
Steffy is putting up a fight since she’s desperate to hold onto those memories right now.
It no doubt feels like a betrayal to run from them, but Taylor suggested this would give Steffy some room to breathe and heal.
Steffy will ultimately realize it’s indeed too hard to be around so many Finn reminders, especially at the cliff house where they were building their life together.
Now that Steffy assumes her future with Finn has been yanked away, she needs some space to make peace with that.
B&B spoilers say all this Finn grief will bring Steffy’s escape to Europe, where she’ll take Amelia (Nicola Posener) to pitch in with the kids.
Steffy will have to meet up with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) soon and give him updates on her trip, so he’s sure to be shocked.
However, Liam should understand in the end and support Steffy if she feels this is what she needs.
Liam and Steffy will share a tough goodbye by midweek, but Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will continue her Finn recovery efforts in the meantime.
Li refuses to give up hope, so her patience and hard work will be rewarded sooner or later.
Over with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), they’ll argue about Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and whether Carter should give her another shot.
Carter doesn’t see why not at this point – especially since Paris could give him the connection and family he’s dreaming of.
Quinn will do her best to convince Carter he has other options, but Quinn is the only woman he wants.
Since being with anyone else is settling, Carter might as well give Paris a real chance and see what happens.
Carter and Paris will plan their nuptials later this summer, so Quinn’s going to lose this argument and will have to deal with what happens next.
As for Donna, she’ll await Eric’s answer and hope it’s what she wants to hear.
Donna said she’d take Eric any way she can get him, but she doesn’t want to stress him out or make life difficult.
That’s why Donna pushed Eric to be honest and tell her if he wants to end things between them.
Of course, Eric has been clear about being unable to resist Donna so far, which means he’ll keep the affair going for now.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn’s going to make some discoveries that lead to trouble soon, so keep watching for more drama!
