The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 6, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) learned Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was alive while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) derailed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) passion.
At the hospital on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) gave an emotional speech by Steffy’s bedside.
Thomas cried over all the people who needed Steffy, including him.
Thomas assured unconscious Steffy that she was his best friend and pushed her to use her strength to come back to them.
As Thomas offered his heartfelt plea, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) put comforting hands on his son’s shoulders.
While Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) was examining Steffy, Thomas stepped in the waiting area along with Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Ridge was still trying to process the fact that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was gone.
Taylor wondered what kind of monster would shoot Steffy, kill Finn and leave them lying in an alley like that.
Ridge questioned what Finn and Steffy were even doing in that alley while Thomas worried Steffy wouldn’t make it.
Taylor reassured Thomas that Steffy wasn’t going anywhere and gave him a hug. She also admitted she couldn’t help but think about Sheila right now.
No matter what Sheila had done in the past, Taylor insisted Sheila was still Finn’s mother.
Taylor couldn’t imagine the devastation that Sheila would feel when she found out Finn was gone.
In Sheila’s hotel room, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) wasn’t sure what to say or how to help Sheila.
Deacon knew all Sheila wanted was a place in Finn’s life and felt this had to be unbearable.
Sheila sought confirmation that Deacon found Finn and Steffy in the alley behind Il Giardino.
Sheila asked if Deacon saw who might’ve done this, but Deacon said whoever did was long gone.
Deacon ranted about what kind of lowlife shoots two innocent people in cold blood.
Sheila flashed back to the double shooting before Deacon snuggled up next to her and offered comfort.
Sheila sobbed over how she was just getting to know Finn, who was letting her in. She said Finn was her life and her future, but now he was just…gone.
Deacon kept trying to offer hugs and sympathy as Sheila’s tears fell. When Sheila wondered if Finn knew she loved him, Deacon thought that Finn did.
Sheila wanted to go to the hospital and see her son one more time, but Deacon advised against it since she might run into Steffy’s family there.
Deacon admitted that the Forresters were praying Steffy pulled through, so Sheila was shocked to learn Steffy was still alive. Although Sheila seemed unnerved, she tried to pretend she was relieved with a slight smile.
At the cabin, Brooke walked in right as Hope and Liam were stripping down for lovemaking.
Brooke apologized for interrupting their sofa passion and offered to leave, but Liam and Hope wanted her to stay.
After Brooke admitted she was worried about Ridge, she mentioned their deep connection and how she could feel when something was wrong.
Brooke indeed felt something was wrong now and grew concerned since Ridge wasn’t answering his phone.
Hope offered reassurance that Ridge would eventually come home to Brooke.
In the meantime, Brooke decided it was good that Ridge was spending time with his children, especially Steffy. She said that Ridge felt like he wasn’t there enough when Steffy was younger.
Brooke understood Ridge’s desire to make up for that lost time and added that life was short.
Brooke continued to fret over Ridge not picking up his phone and knew on a visceral level that something had shifted. It was just an ability that Brooke and Ridge shared.
Soon after, Deacon showed up and wanted to check in.
It became obvious that Hope, Liam and Brooke hadn’t heard the horrible news, so Deacon was forced to offer updates.
Deacon revealed that he was taking the trash out at Il Giardino when he saw the victims on the ground in the alley.
Deacon explained that Finn and Steffy had been shot, so Liam looked alarmed along with Hope and Brooke.
Back at the hospital, Thomas made a phone call to ensure that the kids were being taken care of.
Thomas couldn’t believe how crazy this night had become. Taylor cried as she told Ridge she was scared, so Ridge said he was scared, too.
Moments later, Sheila stepped off the elevator. She asked about Steffy, so Thomas confirmed that his sister was still alive.
Taylor was so sorry for Sheila’s loss and knew the pain she must be feeling right now.
Sheila accepted Taylor’s warm embrace and said she was so sorry as well. As Sheila cried in Taylor’s arms, Thomas and Ridge looked uncomfortable.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila’s secret is a ticking time bomb, so it’s just a matter of time until it explodes!
