The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 17, teases that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) may begin the fierce fight for Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) heart. Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) future will also be sealed as far as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is concerned, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will push for Taylor’s admission.
Since Steffy can tell her mom’s ready for a new chapter with Ridge, she’ll hope Taylor can confess what she wants and go after it.
Steffy’s pressure will lead to Taylor’s realization, so it sounds like she’ll decide her daughter is right.
Brooke isn’t worthy of Ridge in Taylor’s eyes – and life’s too short not to fight for the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.
Taylor indeed seems poised to fight for Ridge’s heart, but Brooke will be busy trying to wrap her head around that Monaco kiss.
Ridge will keep trying to brush it off as something that happened in a moment of happiness.
That might ease Brooke’s mind on some level, but she’ll still hate that Taylor felt free to lock lips with her husband.
Brooke should hold Taylor primarily responsible and may vow to give her rival a piece of her mind.
Although Taylor and Brooke have been on decent terms lately, those days are over thanks to this Monte Carlo kiss news.
Now Brooke’s bound to get territorial and may push Ridge to make a full recommitment.
Taylor, on the other hand, will think Ridge needs to dump Brooke for good and reunite with her instead.
On another note, we should mention that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will show up in disguise within the next day or two.
Sheila may lurk around on Wednesday’s B&B episode, so keep that in mind if you see a suspicious redhead pop up!
Across town, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will stand by his plan to move Douglas in with him at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place.
Once Thomas pushes Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) on this at the cabin, the tension over Douglas will get even worse.
Thomas will act like he’s the parent who matters most here and will want to reclaim his son.
Although Thomas will always be grateful to Hope for stepping up as a new mother to Douglas, he’ll want to take the lead now.
Since Thomas is stable and perfectly capable of caring for Douglas, he’ll act like Hope should’ve seen this was inevitable.
Hope will hate the thought of Douglas being yanked from his life at the cabin, but Thomas will think it’ll all work out for the best.
Thomas and Hope will eventually settle on letting Douglas make a choice regarding where to live.
At some point in the coming episodes, Hope and Thomas will agree it’s the right thing to do.
Douglas seems more than ready to live with his dad, so all signs point to him happily moving in the Forrester mansion with Thomas soon enough.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas and Hope will face some tough conflict in the meantime, so keep watching!
