The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 24, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) party will cause some drama since it’ll lead to Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) one-night rule being broken.
Although Hope approved Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) visit to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place, she repeatedly emphasized it was just for the night.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) clearly wants more than that, so that’ll set the stage for some trouble.
Eric will hold a special Forrester celebration at the mansion, so that’ll bring a little party for Steffy and Finn now that they’re back together.
Finn’s survival is certainly a reason to gather with the family and count their many blessings.
Of course, Thomas also got Eric’s permission to move Douglas in, so that’ll be part of this celebration, too.
Eric will consider this a warm welcome for Douglas to his new home.
Now that Remington Blaire Evans has finished her temporary run as Kelly Spencer, Sophia Paras McKinlay will swap back in.
McKinlay will be as adorable as ever during Kelly’s upcoming family bonding time.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will naturally be on hand – and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) should be part of this gathering as well.
Since Taylor is part of the “Tridge” family unit, she’ll surely want to celebrate with her children and grandchildren.
Thomas will get caught up in the Forrester experience and will want to keep the fun going.
The idea of taking Douglas back to the cabin so soon just won’t work for Thomas, who’ll call Hope and insist Douglas is staying another night.
Before Hope can object on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas will hang up and leave no room for discussion.
Hope was already uneasy about this overnight stay, so she’ll have another reason to worry once Thomas extends it.
From Hope’s perspective, it’ll seem like Thomas is rapidly pushing Douglas out of the cabin and into his new life at the Forrester mansion.
Although Hope will plan to fight Thomas on this, she’ll know she may have quite a war on her hands if the tension gets any worse.
