The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 16, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) hid Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) phone, so his dad missed Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) voicemail. Here’s how it all went down on Wednesday’s B&B episode.
At the cliff house, Thomas and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were hopeful about Ridge kicking Brooke to the curb.
Unfortunately, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) came in and explained that according to Brooke, Ridge professed his undying love for her.
Thomas and Steffy felt that Brooke had to be lying, but they sought answers from Ridge once he walked through the door.
There were concerns about Ridge’s post-brawl wounds, but he said they should see the other guy!
Ridge insisted Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) got what was coming to him, but Steffy and Thomas wanted to know if Brooke got what was coming to her, too.
Thomas and Steffy warned that Ridge couldn’t let Brooke get away with this.
Taylor urged Steffy and Thomas to give Ridge some time to process, but they argued that Brooke never learned her lesson.
Ridge still felt like Deacon did something to make Brooke drink, but Steffy didn’t care about Brooke’s excuses – nor did she care how hard Brooke threw Deacon under the bus.
Ridge surprised all of them by admitting Brooke actually made sure Deacon was OK and was defending him.
After Ridge said things were different this time, he declared that he couldn’t do this anymore.
Steffy wanted to know if Ridge ended it with Brooke, so he replied that he had to.
Steffy thought it was good that Ridge was free and that he was there with his family – the people who would never let him down.
At Brooke’s place, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) got updates from Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), who said Steffy was rooting for Brooke’s marriage to end.
Hope was concerned since she hadn’t heard from her mom, but Brooke finally returned home looking somber.
After Brooke flashed back to Ridge’s heartache and anger in the storage room, she reflected on how much she hurt him.
Brooke explained that Ridge thought Deacon must’ve spiked her drink, but she shut down that idea.
Brooke also filled Liam and Hope in on Taylor’s visit, including her accusation that Brooke drank to give herself permission to cheat on Ridge.
Next, Hope and Liam found out about the bloody brawl, which left Brooke defending Deacon to stop Ridge’s persistent punching.
Brooke confessed that everything shifted then, so she was afraid she lost her soulmate forever.
Liam argued that Ridge needed time to cool off – and Hope agreed that Brooke couldn’t give up.
Brooke assured Hope that she would never give up on Ridge, but she was indeed scared.
Since Brooke assumed Ridge was probably with his other family, she worried about Steffy, Thomas and Taylor trashing her.
Brooke knew she needed to speak with Ridge, so she grabbed her phone and tried to call him.
Back at the cliff house, Thomas noticed Brooke calling Ridge’s phone, which was on silent.
After Thomas secretly covered up the phone, he also noticed Brooke left a voicemail – though he said nothing to Ridge.
In that emotional message, Brooke apologized again and told Ridge how much she loved him.
Brooke refused to give up on their life together and told Ridge they needed to talk.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will make a last-ditch effort to repair her marriage, but more hurdles are on the way.
