The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 2, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) planned what could be an unforgettable night with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) confessed to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) insisted on talking to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Steffy vowed to be gentle, so Thomas agreed – though he didn’t want Douglas involved anymore after this.
Once Thomas got Douglas from the other room, he admitted Aunt Steffy wanted to hear the Santa story from him.
Steffy told Douglas it was OK since they were family and didn’t keep secrets.
Douglas made his usual “Grandma kissing Santa Claus” spiel – plus, the new part he recently remembered where it was Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) wearing the Santa hat.
Although Douglas didn’t want to make Brooke mad by talking about it, he said it felt wrong not to tell his dad.
Steffy thought Douglas was so brave and got confirmation that he was absolutely sure Grandma was kissing Deacon.
After Thomas told Douglas not to worry about any of this, he sent his son back in the other room to finish the movie.
Steffy believed every word Douglas said, but Thomas pointed out Brooke could deny it.
After Steffy acknowledged Thomas was right, she suggested they had to get evidence.
Steffy thought for a moment and got an idea – one that could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt what Brooke did that night.
After Steffy insisted Ridge deserved someone like Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) instead of Brooke, she told Thomas their family could finally be reunited.
At Brooke’s place, she kept dwelling on flashbacks of New Year’s Eve with Deacon. Brooke also thought back to telling Douglas that the past was in the past.
Ridge came home and hugged Brooke before giving her another pep talk. He also offered a card that had the first words he ever spoke to Brooke on it.
Ridge reminded Brooke of his love before admitting he had something to tell her. He confessed to visiting Deacon at the bar and warning him to stay away.
Brooke asked if Ridge told Deacon about her relapse, but he assured her that he hadn’t said anything about that.
Ridge didn’t want Deacon using that to get close to Brooke and argued that Deacon knew nothing about New Year’s Eve.
At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) had an awkward conversation with Paris about his date with Sequoyah the model.
Zende said no matter how great the date was or how beautiful Sequoyah might be, none of that changed how he felt about Paris.
Zende added that he wasn’t trying to put pressure on Paris. He just wanted Paris to be happy, but she seemed on edge.
Meanwhile, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) ordered Carter to end things with Paris since Zende was the man she deserved.
Carter defended Paris as a grown single woman, so Grace asked why hide their romance then?
Carter wasn’t surprised this was how Carter treated his friends – just like he’d done with Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Grace snapped that this ends today or else she would go to the Forresters.
Grace didn’t know how Carter got them to forgive his affair with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), but she doubted it would happen twice.
Carter grew increasingly angry and insisted he didn’t respond well to threats.
Carter said Paris didn’t need protection from him, but Grace ranted about Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) pain again.
Grace felt that Zende was a prince, but Carter was a mess! She reiterated that Carter should end things with Paris or else she’d go to Ridge.
Afterward, Grace found Zende in the main office and admitted she’d done some digging on him.
Grace recapped how Zende was a young boy from Africa who lost both parents, lived in an orphanage and lost his brother.
Grace was so impressed with the way Zende had risen above his circumstances to accomplish so much.
Grace wanted to talk about Zende’s relationship with Paris, which she acknowledged wasn’t exclusive.
Zende pointed out that Paris’ happiness was all he really cared about – and that’s what Grace cared about, too.
Grace said there was nothing she wouldn’t do to give her daughter the happiness she deserved.
After being summoned by Carter, Paris joined him in the design office. She admitted things were really confusing with Zende and noted that she didn’t want to hurt him.
Still, Paris couldn’t stop thinking about Carter, who couldn’t stop thinking about Paris either.
Despite feeling conflicted, Carter invited Paris to come over to his place. Carter didn’t want to be presumptuous, but he thought this might be a night they never forgot.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris and Carter will battle more temptation than ever soon, so stay tuned!
