The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 23, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) kissed Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) one last time while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gloated to an angry Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
At Brooke’s house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, she begged Ridge to tell her that she was his Logan.
Ridge said Brooke would always be his Logan, so she thought everything was going to be fine. All that mattered was Ridge came home, but Brooke quickly noticed he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring.
Ridge admitted to spending the night at Steffy’s place and pointed out that he was with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Ridge didn’t feel he belonged there with Brooke anymore and suggested there was a reason he removed his wedding band.
Brooke asked if Ridge made love to Taylor, so Ridge said it didn’t go that far – though it could have if they hadn’t stopped it.
Although Brooke wanted to recommit and do better, Ridge felt like he was getting too old to be on this merry-go-round and couldn’t do this anymore.
Brooke kept trying to apologize and convince Ridge that he was her destiny, so Ridge assured her of his love.
Even so, Ridge reiterated that he couldn’t do this anymore and planted a goodbye kiss. Ridge once again told Brooke she would always be his Logan and left her to cry alone.
Meanwhile, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) found Taylor smiling in her office and knew this was about Ridge.
Although Sheila upset Taylor by bashing Brooke, she ultimately suggested she wanted to congratulate Taylor for letting Brooke dig her own grave.
Sheila hoped Taylor would take advantage of this opening with Ridge since she’d waited so long.
However, Taylor’s expression let Sheila know that the wait was already over.
Sheila gushed over how Taylor was glowing and was clearly ecstatic over Ridge being done with Brooke.
Once Sheila was back in her hotel room, she gleefully talked about Brooke’s destiny coming to an end.
Sheila was pleased over her plan working and let out a creepy laugh over Brooke paying the ultimate price.
At Forrester Creations, Hope arrived to find Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) discussing Brooke and Ridge.
Steffy said things weren’t looking good for Brooke and was so sick of hearing Hope defend her mother.
Thomas suggested that although Hope wanted this to be resolved by whatever mysterious force drove Brooke to drink, that didn’t really matter.
Steffy agreed and thought that Brooke’s destiny with Ridge was about to end.
Hope argued that Brooke was still married to Ridge, but Thomas wondered for how long.
That led to Hope telling Thomas she didn’t appreciate his recent Brooke ban.
Hope asked about Taylor’s involvement in this situation, but Steffy didn’t think Hope would like the answer.
Once Hope and Steffy were alone, Steffy gloated about Taylor’s magical night of reconnection with Ridge.
Steffy added that Ridge took his wedding ring off, but Hope refused to give up on “Bridge.”
Hope felt that Steffy had been rooting for Brooke and Ridge to fail, but Steffy refused to apologize for wanting her father’s happiness.
In the end, Steffy felt Brooke only had herself to blame.
