The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 13, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) had some flirty fun with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) got a prison guard clue.
First on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) returned and caught John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) working to get out of bed.
However, Finn managed to cover by acting like he was just trying and failing to move.
Sheila argued that she wasn’t planning on leaving Finn alone often, but she wanted some ground rules for whenever she did.
After Sheila warned that Finn couldn’t move, she pushed him to let his mother take care of him.
Finn called Sheila an evil, twisted monster in his thoughts before asking about the medicine.
Sheila admitted it was too risky for her to go out as a fugitive, so she revealed that she called a friend for help.
After hearing a knock, Sheila stepped out of the room – leaving the door ajar as she went.
Finn did his best to listen as Sheila pushed Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) to get the medicine for her.
After Mike grumbled, Sheila reminded him of the last time he tried to cross her.
There was a flashback of Sheila letting an attack dog loose on Mike, but he argued that he was able to tame that dog – just like he’d been trying to tame Sheila all these years.
Sheila insisted Mike should go get the medicine now and added that no one would ever suspect him of anything.
At home, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) canoodled with Brooke, who was glad to have him there taking care of her.
Talk turned to Ridge’s concern over Taylor since she was perhaps too trusting.
Brooke reassured Ridge about Taylor’s eyes being opened to the real Sheila.
Ridge then called Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin), who paid a visit and got an earful for not making enough progress in the investigation.
Baker noted Guthrie, the lead guard on duty, said they were looking at an inside job.
Brooke got Baker to repeat that the guard’s name was Guthrie and wondered why that sounded so familiar.
At Il Giardino, Taylor asked how Deacon truly felt about Ridge moving back in with Taylor.
Deacon was surprised over Taylor caring and admitted it sucked that Ridge was a step closer to recommitment.
Deacon also thought it was nice talking to Taylor like this since they’d never really done it.
That led to some jokes about the saint and the sinner.
Deacon was glad that Taylor didn’t put him in the same category as Sheila, so they laughed as Taylor admitted he was fun.
There was a light and flirty vibe as Taylor made Deacon repeat that they weren’t losers.
Taylor refused to let Deacon put himself down, even in his rather charming, self-deprecating way.
Deacon acknowledged that Taylor was good at her job and suggested she made him feel like anything was possible.
Taylor replied that she knew not to take anything for granted after what happened to Finn.
Deacon felt maybe he’d been naïve for the first time in his life when it came to Sheila.
Nevertheless, Taylor didn’t think Deacon should be so hard on himself since she tried to see the good in Sheila, too.
After Taylor said she had to go, Deacon was taken aback since it felt like she just got there. Time clearly flew when Deacon was with Taylor.
Deacon assured Taylor that he’d call the cops and her if he heard anything from Sheila.
Taylor was adamant about Sheila needing to be back behind bars where she belonged.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon and Taylor have some other bonding sessions ahead of them, so stay tuned!
